  • Morning all!

We need a yawning smilie. This hour shouldn't exist on a weekend. :p

I've got a Pagan Yule carol service to go to over in Bristol with some friends so I need to get a move on. I want to make sure I get to the station in time, my friend's picking me up at Temple Meads and she's going to have to go the whole way across Bristol to get to me. Nothing in for breakie so I'll have to grab a sandwich at the station. Talk later.

    PS No snow here either.

I am really naffed off.....I am watching the strictly from last night, I have managed to avoid the result since last night. Chloe switched my ipod on and the radio was playing and I have just heard in the background who won.......

Had a nice day yesterday. bought wardrobes, went to brum, looked round shops, then had a meal at cafe rouge and then onto the IMAX at 11.30 to discover the film is nearly three hours long:eek:. We uhmed and aahed about just going home but stayed anyway. The film is good, but I nodded off in places and I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought, but I think its cos I was concentrating on staying awake so much. Got home at 3.30 after a treacherous journey home cos it had been snowing and the roads were really icy.

Got up at 7.30 and the roads are still icy. Not going to do my run cos the hill to my house is like a down hill ski slope!! Not risking my life....:rotfl:

  • What on earth is a pagan carol service? Seems to be a contradiction in terms.
Tomorrow is the winter solstice so maybe that I guess.

Better hit the shower and get on with the day. 2 SILs coming over later to swop my rooms.

Well the snow has certainly fallen here and we are officially...........SNOWED IN:snow_grin
I reckon the farmer at the end of the road will be the only one to get out of the lane today, we have over 12" of snow.

Thankfully we did our big shop yesterday and for once my failure to do something in time has worked in our favour as if I did manage to book a delivery slot for today they wouldnt have been able to get through.

Sadly we have had to cancel our Sunday lunch out with MIL which was supposed to be our sort of Christmas lunch as we dont spend Christmas day together but its just one of those things.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
