I wonder if I can do this for one month

MMM OK perhaps me just being optimistic?
I had a real stroke of luck today, the local Co-Op that I use are having a refit on the 25th of this month so were having a 75% sale off all the things that are slow sellers, I actually went there in the first place to see if they had the toilet rolls for 2.50 they did I picked up the last two packs.
The slow sellers funnily enough are all the sorts of things that we eat.
Nando's hot sauce, sugar cubes (ok not normally but hey they were 20p) olives 30p red onion relish, 30p, fem products 40p red pesto 20p. I spent a whole 8 pounds, and had 5 bags worth of stuff, I had to call one of the boys to come and help me carry it all home because the toilet rolls have no handle so it would have been awkward to get it all home on my own.
I did not actually get any veg unless you count 2 cans of mushy peas! At 10p each.
I know I have been extremely lucky this month, but looking at the spreadsheet I have not payed full price for anything this month, I am not thinking that it will be this easy ever again, but for the first time in goodness knows how long I have got to 11 days before the end of the month and NOT counting every penny.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Just a quick note about the cabbage we had last night. It was HORRID. It was stringy and kinda rubbery in consistency, that said the taste was OK. So note to self, freeze sooner or put aside for making stock.
I am waiting in today for a order from approved foods, so may have nut roast, with roasties, and carrots that I have in the freezer, or if I can't be bothered I will have the red pepper pesto that I bought last night,,,,,ah just remembered, no potatoes, ah well thats settled, it is defo the red pepper pesto.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Have you tried Buckwheat? It's not related to Wheat despite it's name and is gluten-free and an almost perfect protein. Also called Kasha.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -

Hi thistledome, thank you for the heads up, I love buckwheat, it's the main ingredients for Japanese soba. I don't know how to use it for anything but (pre-made) soba. Do you use them like ground flour? I know they originally come in seed-like form, but I don't think you can eat them as whole... How do you use them?0 -

Can I come round for dinner? (I will be a good guest and will bring my own gluten free pasta)

why did she ask that? Was she insisting that you guys ate chicken or was she implying that your food wasn't good enough??0

i think she was just saying that she could not go a day without meat.
She is quite large and said that if she had no meat she was still hungry afterwards, and felt that something was missing.
She did not understand that this is not an option for me,,,,,and I CRAVEEbay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50
