Yep, Thats exactly what I thought, although a good German potato salad is on the menu for tonight with a nut roast and salad.

My use up a few with onion and potato bhadji tomorrow, and make a small chickpea curry to go with it.

Hi,
Nothing too exciting today, but I did get some bramley apples that will make a nice apple crisp for tomorrows desert, as I am having company, so a desert seems right, I also got o bag of ready prepared root veg so will have a sort of shepherds pie using that and some of the mountain of potatoes that we have right now.

beetroot.......................40p/75 got two of these they were in a jar not fresh.
Apples.........................15p. Not sure as these were sold loose, these were bagged up just to get rid.
bagged root veg............39p/1.04

These will all be used tomorrow.

hey, did my monthly shop, and we picked up some woopsie stir fry again, yum yum!

There was another lady combing through the fish counter for woopsies, and I mean COMBING through, with that aura of "don't anybody else come near this counter while I am searching for the woopsies"... so no fish woopsie this time!!

Those harmless looking old ladies at the whoopsie sections have VERY bony elbows

ohhhhh I didn't even need to get near her, she had blocked the ENTIRE isle just with her aura!!

Ha,, I know what you mean> I have seen that as well. Just hope I never give off that aura.

Didn't get to the shops yesterday at all as we had company round for dinner, and today was a very sad affair just one bag of apples, but I was saying just a day or two ago that I do not see a lot of fruit.
That was it in the f/v dept.

Yesterday was a very sad day in our house, I am going to stop this for a little while. I have other things that are taking up my life right now.
Yesterday my 12 year old niece died at school, she was a healthy happy normal 12 year old, enjoying her first year at "big school" as you can imagine we are all totally in shock right now, these things do not just happen, or if they have to, it happens to other people.

I am so so sorry to hear about your niece's death It's so tragic I can't imagine what you and your family are going through.
