mmmm I sometimes crave a good sausage or a bacon sarnie... I would die though, so I know how difficult it is.
Strangely, what your friend described, is exactly how I feel if I haven't had any carbs.0 -
I got to the shops pretty late last night, so did not feel bad about the amount that I was going to buy, no-one else was going to come in after me.
I got.
Salad..............20/1.00
Red peppers...20/2.00 Got two of them.
celery.............10/1.00.
I have frozen one of the packs of peppers, I can get through loads of these.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

wooo great deal on the peppers! I can't afford to buy full priced peppers atm, they are so pricy! I have to think of how much more volume of veg I could get from cheaper vegs like potatoes, carrots & onions.0

You know I thought exactly the same last night.
If they were cheaper in the first place, people would buy them, then they would not have to almost give them away at a huge lose.
Everyone would be a lot happier.
I had the same thought when I kept getting the pea/corn mix who would pay 3 quid for a tiny amount of veg, OK it worked in my favor ,,,but just a thoughtEbay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Pots ....................50/1.20
Mushroons,,,,,,,,,,50/1.00
juice.....................25/1.65 Grapefruit again, but needed something.
We had the salad from last night with fried mushrooms, two red peppers, and onions, with a red pepper dressing on the salad, also a veggie bake thing but that was nasty, it had a weird fake chicken flavor to it, looks like my sister will have a donation, trouble is i don't think even she can get through 4 cases of it, anyone know if I can give it away on freecycle?

Peppers are expensive, but you can always use frozen chopped peppers. I pay about 85p for a half kilogram bag in Sainsburys. No good for salad, but ideal for curry or pasta sauces.0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
We had a really good dinner today
we had beetroot salad with red pepper dressing, with the last of the spinach, and a can of beets that have been in the cupboard for ages.
Cous cous with red peppers and mushrooms (can you see the link here) and a green salad with the last of the lettuce, last of the tomatoes, and sliced red peppers.
So used up lots of bits, which were taking up space, and had a really good dinner.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50
