OOH thats my review lol!! Yes its a good site, not too many clicks to do but I withdraw when I got a tenner as Amazon vouchers and had quite a few this year.0 -
Ive been thinking (yes it hurt) and I think I might open a bank account just for my money I make from surveys etc and then it wont get spent on shoes for me if its in my normal account.
so does anyone know where I can sign up for a bank account online and not have to go into a bank over the xmas/new year period ??Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
oh hello...I'd love to join!
I am a SAHM mum,to 6 DC. Ihave a wonderful DH who works very hard to provide for us,but raising 6 DCon one salary is a challenge! It is always B'days and Christmas that throws a spanner in my careful budgeting LOL
Have done really well this Christmas thanks to this site and managed to get nearly all my pressies reduced- a lot half price! :T
I have also got DD4's bday(Jan 14th) pressies sorted too - set of Disney mermaid dolls half pricef rom Toysrus when I did Christmas order, and VtechSmile £35 instead of £59 from Amazon thanks to Grabbit board!
Now on look out for Cheap Bike in sales for DS1 bday in April.......
Also am considering getting a sewing machine with some Christmas money from MIL....may try and sell a few crafty things on ebay....
Other than that will be ebaying grown out of clothes etc...and car booting as year goes on as usual.;)
Need to investigate surveys/ reviews etc as I think I am missing out there LOL
Heres to an organised thrifty 2010:beer:0 -
Please can I join in on here? Have joined up to 20p savers, and frugal living in 2010, flylady and this is the next challenge for me - am a bit half way with pressies throughout the year, sometimes get really good bargains when I'm organised and then other times end up rushing around at the last minute - need to get organised ready for pressie spotting in the sales this time!
Have just paid in a surprise £120 cheque from work so am going to use this to start me off on my pressie buying and am half way through 3 stitching projects for different birthdays next year - just need more hours in a day!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000
Savings for big things £90170 -
hi please can i join to i'm a sahm to ds 6 and dd 2 i've done quite well this year with making alot of my xmas pressies but i would love to be money neutral. i have so much i could probably ebay i really need to get my bum in gear in that department it would help me declutter my house at the same time thats always a bonus for me.
merrty christmas everyone0 -
count me in! im phia2000 i am 24 and mum to a 14month old monkey (aka my son) im an avon lady on the side but tend to spend my earnings on..well..avon lol. however it gives me something to do and before that i rarely bought myself anything feminine (ie using my OHs showergels...) so at least i feel a bit more human now.
I have been perserveering (SP?) with surveys etc and finally got a £5 amazon voucher...but im keeping it in there to build on it lol.
I try to be crafty, hobby craft vouchers coming my way for xmas so my aim for next year is to have a home-made ISH xmas and feel good about it!
I do canvases but havent been brave enough to try selling any yet (plus needed to get the ones for the house/presents out the way first) so after xmas -armed with my new canvases -i will attempt that. its just the ebay fees etc that are making me think twice.
