  • ok another ebay question. After the question about sending to poland, ive had another question about sending the same item to australia. Even if i find out postage etc and tell the person asking how can i guarantee that they will pay the postage? when you buy something on ebay does all the pricing come up that you need to pay or does it give you the option to change it? not quite sure how it would work really x

Arrrggg just spent an hour on boots site, grabbing all, went to pay for it , and it said we encounted an error, I had nothing in my basket...I had another go the same thing happened...so I`m going to Boots in a minute to hit the shelves...

had the exact same problem but third times a charm! might sound crazy to spend so long doing it but according to the order it saved me over £60 so I'm quite fair chuffed.

    happy shopping

Not fair. Stayed up ALL NIGHT to place an order at 5am. Put items in basket, took half and hour, Paid for things, took over an hour as site was so slow. Got to thankyou for your order page and then nothing!

Went to our biggest boots to help mum as she disabled, People were running to the shop, we got there 8 mins after opening and some people had two shopping trolleys full each!!!

I bought some extra bits and peices not available on website, got home - and checked, still no confirmation email, so got phone number off back of receipt. Phoned Boots, website cancelled all orders. Managed to get her to re-order but most of it out of stock now. Grrrrrrrr  Then to top it off - couldn't pay by paypal, had to use credit card. double grrrrrrrrrr :mad:

Sorry haven't any tips. OH's hard work did it.

I/We were lucky. OH had some savings in shares before we met. We were supposed to cash in two and a half years ago but the credit crunch happened and they dropped dramatically. The last two years have been a real struggle, last week we only had 11p in the bank between us. The shares had gone up but still not worth what he paid (have lost thousands). He cashed out as we just had enough to pay off mortgage.

:j:j:jWe're still pennyless but at least we're debt free. :j:j:j

Sorry you lost out on the money, but it must be a huge relief to be mortgage-free. Sorry about your dealings with Boots as well.

I am absolutely shattered last couple of days.I had a scan yesterday that found I am 7 weeks pregnant but have a 10 cm diameter simple cyst.Hoping it goes on its own.
I have two items to test the water on ebay, but 8 days left yet.
Feeling sick and sorry for myself, someone give me a slap!!!lol.

Congratulations on your news, hope the cyst doesn't cause you any more trouble. I won't give you a slap given your condition ;), just take your time and rest when you need to - I'm sure your Ebay items will do well for you.

Hello all! :hello: Have finally listed some things on ebay- only seven before my pc started acting up  but tbh I'll probably be pleased when it comes to having to post them all! Quite a few people watching most things now- though as mum2one's very bright daughter pointed out, this doesn't mean they'll bid;)!

Have been dooyooing a little bit- find it hard to think of things to review, I know a lot write about food, chocs etc but just can't think what to write about them- they're nice/ not nice!!! :confused:Have suggested three things so wait and see...

Managed to buy a few bits from Boots eventually. Elysia, I would be gutted if I'd gone to all that trouble for nothing- you should complain! Apparently their website does this every year so surely they should sort it out?!!

Ddraig- congratulations, hope you feel better soon. My sister had the same thing, it did go by itself and she has a beautiful 6 month old daughter now xxx :T

    Hey all!
Feeling happy again, and it's my 19th today :) lol. Got lots of lovely vouchers which I've decided i'm NOT going to save for xmas presents, instead i'm going to go shopping tomorro and treat myself! And i've still got my presents from my mum to come later and my grandma :)! Feeling very spoilt, both me and OH have got the day off, and he woke me up with a sausage and egg sandwich and a glass of bucks fizz lol!
Only one kind of money saving thing to report (I so could not be bothered with boots!) I complained to hotel chocolat about a box of chocolates that I was bought for christmas, that had cost about £80 (WHATTT???!) and when I opened it all of the chocolates were smashed up. Dont get me wrong, they were all still edible and tasted yummy, but for that price you expect for them to look pretty too :) lol, and I've just recieved an email saying that they are sending me another box! Woooo! Now I know I should save them and give them as a present, but after the last week being so poo im not going to!!! LOL.
Hope everyone is doing well and making more money than I am! xxxx

marvellous day in boots for me today!! very disappointed as arrived 20mins after opening and all the big stuff was gone. My eyes lit up when I saw the manager with 2 hatboxes but they were clearly saved for a member of staff (as they should be!) but got loads of bargains, and lots of mens sets which i didnt get last yr!
