Sorry haven't any tips. OH's hard work did it.

I/We were lucky. OH had some savings in shares before we met. We were supposed to cash in two and a half years ago but the credit crunch happened and they dropped dramatically. The last two years have been a real struggle, last week we only had 11p in the bank between us. The shares had gone up but still not worth what he paid (have lost thousands). He cashed out as we just had enough to pay off mortgage.

:j:j:jWe're still pennyless but at least we're debt free. :j:j:j

DDraig These things usually do go on their own. Sister had one - it was hormones making it worse.

mum2one - she clearly has had a good upbringing ::D

ddraig - hope it goes ok for you, think positively!

elysia - when you said your daughter was reading true blood i was a bit surprised until I saw on the other thread she was 19!! you type like you are about 28 (which I assume you are not!)

rufus - how old is your twilight loving daughter? she might like the true blood books? although the thread on grabbit seems to suggest there are graphic sex scenes, so maybe not if she is quite young!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

LOL. You just made an old lady very happy! :j:j:j

DD1 is 19 in April, DD2 was 7 yesterday! I'm 40 now, Must be the kids keeping me young!

DD1 absolutely loved twilight - couldn't read the books fast enough. She loved the True blood series on TV too but as a student at Uni couldn't afford the books. So, I got her the books for her B/day - she doesn't need to know they were only £8.99 ;)
