Oh no Nicky, so sorry to hear about that :O(.
Had such a stressful two days, went to sheffield to see OH's parents on thursday, his mum hates me (I dragged her little prince off to Bradford to live with me, what greater crime is there? lol) and shes been causing loads of problems between us by generally being a b!!!h lol, so he decided it was time to talk to her and tell her to back off! shes actually apologiesed tho, so thats a start! The car started playing up on the way home (a 10 year old corsa, that is literally falling apart!). Set off to manchester yesterday to have eyelash extensions (for free! lol very mse, I hate my eyelashes, theyre so short and I only have about 10 lol) and on the way the clutch cable snapped for the 6th time in less than a year! So didnt get my eyelashes done! In recovery truck on way home, I decided im sick of it, and said we should get a new one. Got home, got a taxi to car craft and left a few hours lates with a '06 ford fiesta :O), I love it! shame we're gonna be paying it off for the next four years through, at £200 a month!! lol, but at least we have a car that is reliable now! We were supposed to part ex the corsa for it, but we held off jumping at the car, and they said keep your car (so we should be able to sell that, get £500 at most) and gave us £600 off the car and £300 cash back so hopefully after selling the car and using the cash back that should pay for 4 months of the repayments!
Lol, sorry for ranting! Anyway basically to cut it short, my new target is now to pay off the car early, and also to pay for at least half of the re payments with money neutral! I know that this thread is for occasions, please dont throw me out!! lol. xx'Patience is a virtue till we die. Then a ripple in the water caught my eye'Mrs Jason Orange.Getting organized and thrifty for christmas 2010!0 -
My cars an old banger too, have never ever had a nearly new car! would so love that!
money neutral is for any occasion so id class a new car as an occasion lol but if not then the money you save on presents will help pay the car so all the same thing really
how do you get the eyelash extensions free?MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
EMFD was Feb 32  NOW Dec 2013 its Dec 2016
MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
Our car is a nearly new - old banger - if there is such a thing. It was eight years old but only had 12,000 on the clock when we bought it. It was previously owned by a little old lady.
I hope everyone gets done what they had planned to do today. I've just got back from Derby. Had a mooch around the shops there and bought......nothing.
Anyway, I think I won't be on later (I don't feel too good) so everyone have a lovely Mother's day. Try and enjoy yourself and forget the housework and suchlike for one day - it'll still be there on Monday (worst luck). LOL
Take care xxxI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

It has 30,000 on the clock, (aparently that isnt many lol, I have no clue about cars!) and it runs like a dream, but anything would after the corsa lol, when I say it was bad, I mean it! Because of the clutch fault, it was REALLY hard to change gear, it was scratched all down one side, two of the are they called alloys? the metal things on the wheels lol had fallen off, and the windscreen had a massive scratch down it! lol
Pammy 1 of my friends is a make up artist (wish I had that job, shes on brilliant money & meets loads of celebs!) and her sister is just finished a course learning how to do them so she was going to do them for me :O(, gutted the clutch cable snapped before I got there! theyre normally about £70 and I refuse to pay that, especially seen as I dont know wether they will be better than the strips! xx'Patience is a virtue till we die. Then a ripple in the water caught my eye'Mrs Jason Orange.Getting organized and thrifty for christmas 2010!0
