Happy Mother's Day from me too :)

I hope everyone is having a nice morning. I'm being spoilt well! DH got me a Gok Won set from the Boots sale. It's the one in the massive purple box and should have been £40 but he got it in the 75% off sale. He was so pleased with himself he left the £40 sticker on to show me!

He also got me a lovely framed photo of our son. It's so lovely, he's doing a big cheesy grin in it :D. It's for my desk at work as the photo I've got on it is a year and a half old and he's changed so much.

THEN, DS made me a little canvas picture at nursery. It is basically blobs and smudges of paint but he was so pleased with it and told me what all the colours where. He also made a card at nursery which has his handprints on and then a big blob of red paint in the middle! I think they only wanted the handprint but he does like to add red paint to things, so he made it more personal :rotfl:

I'm going to have a bath in a bit with my lovely new bathy stuff then we're off out for lunch somewhere secret :)

I hope you all have lovely days!

Wonderful Nicky. DD2 had made me one of those cards with a teabag in at school, and a basket made out of paper, with some choccies in. Had other presents as well but those were the nicest as she made them herself.

Things on ebay finish in a couple of hours - How are everyone else's listing going? Well I hope!

Anyway, have a lovely evening all. Put your feet up, you've deserved it!

Glad everyone had a nice day. my younger two have been trying really hard today to do everything for me. I finally let my 8 yr old make me a cup of tea and she felt soooo grown up, more a treat for her than me bless her and they made me lunch, a creation of a banana sandwich which they cut the crusts off and decorated the plate and treated me to one of their packets of sweets (I am honoured!) They even put ALL the shopping away for me.

Have ordered vouchers to do a home learning course for sage computerised accounts. I am so excited to get going with it and using the vouchers I have saved paying £271  so thats my treat to myself and money saving to boot! :D

I'm glad everyone was spoilt :O). I don't have any kids, think I'm going to invent girlfriend day, but when I told OH this he said thats what valentines day was, DOH! lol.
Wendy- I hope you are not trying to steal my very sexy hubby 2b? lol. My mum invited me to a bbq on 10th July (jasons bday) we're going for her 40th as its on 11th! Its a "thatters" get together, also got "garyoke" in may and "thattereen" in october lol, its a true addiction but theyre so much fun :O). So I also need to get saving for them, theyre all in manchester, all include a over night stay, and lots of wine!! (any anti-pop people out there, please don't hate me!!) xxx

Don't know where you usually stay or what the prices are when your in manchester but there are a few cheaper hotels on the outskirts let me know if you want me to help you find one with good transport links into town

    this one

    http://www.diamondlodge.co.uk/

is £39.95 a night for 1/2 sharing, and has bus links outside and a train station accross the road with an hourly servie, and in a taxi you would be looking at about £6/7 into town and out about a 10 min journey in.

    Let me know

    There are others too
