Good to hear your ok ddraig!
Thanks for that sarah, I'm letting my mum book hotels, but Ill pass it on! For the one in July I know we're staying in the old trafford hotel(dunno what its called!), they are offering lower prices cos we're all staying there, and we're having the bbq there :O).
I'm so struggling with money at the moment, I really need to get my bum into gear and get saving and making money!! xx

My Ebay listings ended at the weekend and I made the grand total of ...£4.39!!!

Still it is £4.39 (fees still to come off) that I didn't have before.

Was slightly shocked though as I had put a camera on for 99p or BIN £15 - it was not a digital camera but was BNIB with loads of accessories and 5 rolls of film - it sold for 99p :eek:

At least it wasn't something I'd paid for in the first place as my mum gave it to DS, then my dad gave him a digital one, so kept that.

Haven't had any luck in the charity shops for the challenge, but have got some things for myself lol. Oh well there's always next month...

Ddraig glad your scan went OK, maryop I hope things are picking up for you and your family. Hugs to all who need them.

Glad all the mummies on here had a lovely day yesterday. I had a HUGE card from DD but as DH only started it Sat, it wasn't quite finished in time lol! Got there in the end though! Made my mum a tea tray gift with a tea for 1 teapot set, tea tray, tea towel, biscuits and teabags. It looked lovely when it was finished and she loved it.

Do we need a leader for the thread?? We all welcome newbies. and i think we are al sort of doing our own little challenges and if anyone wants to post a challenge then they are welcome to.

just bought my mum a new twin phone for her birthday which was £29 and when i got to checkout there was another £10 off so got myself one as well AND used my gift card i won ages ago so money neutral and a gift to myself! :T

Exactly, if you think of a challenge then people can decide which one they might want to follow?

Oh Jammy I know how you feel, and well said pammyj we don't need leaders..... although I am forever in your debt Jammy for leading me onto the money nuetral path:D

Don't leave us completely hun, we will miss you if you do, we all have other commitments and know how you feel so don't feel guilty hun, we know your there and that you think about us, if you didn't you wouldn't pop on and say hi when you got a couple of minutes spare.

I'm sure with all the money making ops that come up that we all share and us each setting ourself little challenges and sharing them we will still all be money nuetral.

Hi all, have caught this horrible sicky bug that's doing the rounds so I've not been on for a few days.

The handbag for the £1 to £20 challenge made £13.39, so I'm pleased about that. Whole of the listing made £88.odd after all ebay and paypal fees were taken off.

Jane - I know what you mean about ebay sales sometimes - I had listed a brand new Wii game that DD2 had two of (I bought her one for christmas and mum bought the same one for her birthday) It cost £24.99 originally so I had high hopes and It made a massive £3.42 (before fees taken off). Boo

I hope everyone is doing well, nice to see you back Ddraig.

Good Luck with everything Jammie, we'll be ok. Pop by and speak to us when you can, and don't worry!!!
