V pleased, just managed to line up 4 jobs in the same street on the same day, with a couple more to do en route. Let's hope the kids don't get ill, which has happened the last couple of times I've managed this kind of feat.

    ESA food shops next week.

Just had ESA on the phone, again, to see if I could take some of the unapplied for jobs. The lad on the phone said they were hoping to have the bulk of the jobs allocated this afternoon. I hope so. Then I can see if I am available for some of the ones they keep phoning me about.

For anyone doing some of these next week... did a dummy run in my local shop this morning. The special offers they want you to check have nice big RED labels showing them. Makes it easier to spot. Though my shop had two of the items not on offer and one that I couldn't find at all.

Very helpful, thanks borders. I've got 2 lined up for next week and it's the first time i've had to return open food items so was a bit nervous about these. I'm gonna have to think of some really rubbish excuse now as to why I don't want their delightful biscuits...

I think I'm one of the ones who will never get allocated by ESA. Shame, as there are loads in my area and they sit there for ages unallocated so it's not as if they are overloaded with ms'ers here.

A couple of hard smacks on the side of the car and "these biscuits were all broken" ! Crush the crisps and "these are all just pieces" !!

IF I actually get any of the shops I've applied for then I was thinking of returning crisps. Stale, dont taste right, something like that. If I find problems with that then I was even considering adding some salt to them. Not to ready salted of course, bit daft that, but maybe prawn cocktail or another strong flavour. Makes it more genuine if they check.

Maybe thinking about this too much, especially as I haven't even been allocated any yet.

I think to be honest I was just very very lucky. I joined up, and the very next day there was a job released to telephone a catalogue company, and it was self allocate so I nabbed it. I thought that was the norm until the following month when I had to apply for everything and i've not seen any self allocate or phone jobs since.

TBH I think if I hadn't of completed that job for them and be on their paylist then I wouldn't get the ones I apply for now, and even now it's still about 50/50 from the one's I actually apply for. I can'y get a historical shop for love nor money.

    Very strange system.
  • I only ever seem to get jobs in small out of the way villages, have NEVER got any in a major town.

..... apart from Central London, I had 5 'coffee' gift shops to do whilst I was there on a hotel job.

By the way, no I have not received any petrol payments yet from Aba-i.
