MYSTERY SHOPPING THREAD XII - ** New people please read posts 1 & 2 **

I am usually very busy the first week but I think I’ve been too slow. I only managed to get one petrol as I was just about to press to accept another one and I was beaten to it. Only 8 jobs this week
.
Unusually for me, my first week of the month has been a bit slow too! I have even resorted to padding out my days with RE, so things must be bad. However, I am starting to get some nice (manual) allocations dribbling in. I can see the latter half of the month turning into mad panic. I take this as a good sign!:)0 -
Really really quiet in my area right now, even RE (1 low paid pub drinks)
I don't think MS has reallly built up it's momentum since Christmas in my area. And I am registered with nearly 30 different companies! If you can’t beat your computer at chess, try kickboxing.:rotfl:0 -
I agree with the post on the Alert thread from TG, and often log on after receiving an alert to find a duplicated post, or an area specific one, which can be very annoying. Also responses are sometimes posted on the thread, which is also annoying.
On the other hand I can also see Gallygirl's point about people not posting for fear of criticism. I suppose the answer is to try to check the Alert thread before posting, but of course there will always be the times when alerts are within seconds of each other and will appear to be duplicated. I don't think there's any easy answer.
Hi,
this is what happenned with me - i checked the alerts thread and noone had posted so I typed a quick reply, before i logged off. Looking at the times of the posts the other poster must have typed their message at the same time. As im not psychic I am going to stop posting on the alerts thread as it's to help each other out, not get grief!!!
It is a very useful thread, and ive no problem when people cross post - id rather get two alerts than none!0 -
I never see very much. I think it's the area i live in. Either that or somebody on here is in the same area and i don't see them because there snapped up instantly.
I have two RE jobs booked for this week and thats all i have been able to find lolI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Without wanting to get into a scrap about it the first two posts were at 9:02 and 9:03, yours was at 9:58.0 -

I don't think I have ever seen so few jobs up for grabs. I am even rarely finding anything on gyp at the mo (apart from fast food).
I know that a lot of the client contracts have just been renewed for one of the major companies I work for, and hence the quiet January and slow start to February for them. I also know that some clients are reducing their MS and focussing more on exit interviews.
Luckilly, I am now set up for next week: over 40 jobs (but a lot of miles). I'm hoping that the present dearth of fastest finger work is only temporary!0 -
On the subject of change.. has RE got a new client or is it one that I've just missed previously?? Unfortunately/fortunately they do not delivery to my area.....I did one before christmas - don't know how long they've had them. I'm in the north-east this weekend and the jobs have popped up everywhere BUT the one that delivers to where I'm going!
Don't know if this is useful to anyone (or if these vouchers can be used on these assignments):
WHSmith are giving away BOGOF vouchers (usable on collection or delivery) valid until 14/02/2010.0 -
Hi, I already work for one of the companies listed on the first page doing price checking but was wondering if anyone knows of an MS forum. There was one I was a member of but if you havent visited the forum in a while they delete you. I did read about another one on here but cant find the link.
Anyone know?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

All I know was that when i accessed the page there were no other posts detailing the same information. Perhaps my browser wasnt showing updated info? Wont be posting there again though so noone need worry about that, it's not worth the grief! i tried to offer a helpful tip, wont do it again! I'm not wasting any more time talking about it!0
