Dont know if it's any reason for the delay or not but Gap are Australian and yesterday was Australia Day. Bank holiday there?proshopper wrote: »Respect spells.
Repeated phone calls about the same short notice jobs
Exclusion from assignments at the drop of a hat
Silly queries
Poor explanations given to shoppers
Extremely infuriating job briefs
Communication with company impossible
Total c***
:rotfl:so it's the 27th, i'm still waiting for about £60 to be paid... sent them three emails but have had nothing back yet! We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

If you've got your phone in your handbag/pocket it doesn't beep at you to say you have just received an email. The Blackberry apparently does. Correct me if I'm wrong, please, as I would much prefer an iphone.
Windows phones should be in this mix too because they do all the things an Iphone would at half the tariff and normally with a free phone.
(and yes they do get emails like text message and open gfk briefing notes (which are in a PDF format))0 -

You can set how often it checks for emails and when, so I have mine set up to check every 15 minutes from 9am to 10pm (I don't want to know during the night so I don't want it to beep and wake me up!). I don't have to be logged into the application, the messages are pushed through automatically. I have a different beep to text messages, so I know if its email or text which has been received.

Despite serious hunting around for an affordable handset that can do everything I want it to do, I have not yet managed to find one. Every so often, I start my search again. I want a phone that does eveything I can do on my laptop with wireless! Very exacting shopper that I am!:o0

Oh by the way, 15 minutes is far too long a wait. When I get an email from Grassroots and then click onto their website, the job is usually gone within 2 minutes of getting the email alert. There is some f***er in my area who obviously has a great phone and nabs all the jobs straight away! Unless this person is in the middle of something and not able to respond, I can sometimes get a job - but only about once a month. I seem to miss out on about 20 a month.
We must be in the same area. That b***** takes all my work too. But he/she does shove some of it back occasionally! The other thing I've noticed with GR is that they don't always seem to email notify now.0 -

It has but not many phones do it all staright out of the box you have to learn how to add to them (maybe an updated internet browser or the right software to open PDF's etc)
andmysterious_girl wrote: »What's an example of a windows phone? Never heard of them.:o
Orange have them in their shops and so do o2 and vodafone.
Basically the have adobe reader on them so ca open PDF's (I think you can also get this for a blackberry too on the adobe site?)
Windows Phones run Windows mobile (with word and excel too), the newest versions are very finger friendly.
i have the o2 xda zest and runnibg opera mobile (internet browser) i can do anyhting i can do on my computer at home and to prove it im writng this from my phone in the middle of Portsmouth's shopping centre!
When i get an email (on my gmail) i have set my phone to grab them and beep, so i always get GR jobs because they go so quickly.0 -
What makes us different from all the other mystery shopping companies?
But the real difference is the relationship we foster with our community of XEs. As Aretha Franklin sang, it's all about that one word, RESPECT.

Shopping eXperience Evaluators are people, not numbers. We rely on the work you do, and our clients do to.
That's incredible! They certainly are different from other MS companies but the first word that comes into my head when I think of them is not respect.... Also, perhaps they should go over their blurb with a proofreader as that final "to" should probably be "too"....0 -
