If you travel 10 miles on a bus and it costs £1 - you claim £1.
Thank you. That is very clear.
What about if I bought a bus pass for say £30 for MS but I also used it for personal use? Can I claim back the full £30? If not how would I calculate what proportion of costs I can claim back?
For the umpteenth time, RING THE TAX OFFICE!!! They will be able to give you a simple, clear answer which is obviously what you need. Everyone is trying to help you here but you there is a limit to how many questions (asked over and over) can be answered on here. As HP said, most of us old timers didn't have this forum and had to find everything out for ourselves.
Give them a call tomorrow and you will have your answer.0 -

You would claim the proportion of it that is used for MS, but it would be best to ring the tax office to check. I would guess that they reopen tomorrow. Google will be your friend in finding the phone number. However as you seem unable to search I'm sure we'll soon be asked for their number.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -

So...is everyone ready for their tax returns?
Also how is everyone lining up for jobs now? Can we expect an influx tomorrow with the companies going back to work?? Fortunately my full time work shuts down until next Monday so I've got the week off...but no jobs to fill my time with!
Does mean I can sit down and read my True Blood books that I got for xmas though, we're expecting more snow tonight and later in the week so might not get out much!0 -

I hope for an influx tomorrow, but I doubt it, I think we'll have to wait til next week for them to get back properly.
I am expecting RE to have loads and loads and loads of jobs next week as people release things they've had in their accounts over Xmas that they've not done.
In other news, many thanks to the people who PM'd me about the RE music shops I asked about a few pages back - all sorted now thanks.
ETA - you know all these thoughts about a website etc with useful info - isn't that what the first few posts are for? So if anyone has any particularly useful info can they not ask the thread started to add it?Happy New Year :beer:0 -
Instead of filling this thread up with your DRIVEL that is driving me (and no doubt everyone else) to despair?????????
Sorry you feel this way. I won't ask anymore questions as you are not appreciating it.
