In several stores I bought the egg and cress sandwiches that were near sell by date so they were reduced to 50p and no one questioned me saying they were off. In others I just bought the cheapest biscuits and knocked them against the wall just away from the entrance to make sure they were broken.
I think I might know these jobs: I did hundreds of these, years ago, before ESA got them. It used to be that you had a £3 reimbursed spend for the return item (double refund :T). The trick then was to buy something that you could take a bite out of, then return it with "this tastes funny". No way could this be verified if the item had tooth marks. The £3 spend easily covered sandwiches at full price. Bit trickier at 50p, I must admit.0 -
On the crisps front, I found most stores had the bacon fries / onion rings type crisps in own brand. If not, then I've tried sandwiches (tasted off, was pretty much accused of lying), dairy desserts (said the cream was off, they checked the expiry date then said that was funny), biscuits (broken, straightforward), chocolate (difficult to complain about, said it had an odd texture) and a squashed quiche (they obviously thought I was a bit odd but refunded me politely anyhow). But on the whole crisps has been by far the easiest.
In one shop I was sitting in my car outside crushing my crisps and realised the barber in the shop above was watching me. God knows what he must have thought!
It's all put me right off bacon fries though, which can only be a good thing. Shame it has also put my kids off eggs, they are now refusing to eat anymore. Good job we're down to the last dozen.
I bought a pack of 4 cream cakes and bit into one(tasted delicious)lol....took it back and complained it was off. They replaced the box and gave me another one free for the inconvenience. Exit one happy bunny!:rotfl:0 -

I did one job where I went round the corner to smash my biscuits against the wall whilst no one was looking. I didn’t see that this old lady watching me and when I was doing the return she was right behind me in the queue. She must of though I was a complete nut case.0 -
I know lots of people have been posting about problems with GAP - but mine is stuck on "Update Contact" page - anyone know how to move past this?? I have tried to update everything but the only option available is "edit" and when pressed, I can also "change" but I can't get through to home page to get assignments!
That's the screen you get left with when you're sacked by gap. So I suspect (unless you're missing some very obvious option, which is doesn't sound like) that you've been let go.0 -

I had that when I'd been suspended. My email was down and some emails they sent bounced back, so they suspended me.
I contacted them and verified my email was working again, they reinstated me.Here I go again on my own....0 -
Please tell me I am not the only person who sits here at some stupid hour in the morning logging on and off sites, checking jobs....maybe I could do that one if I move this one........perhaps I can run up the High Street and back in 10 minutes and fit a bank in, whilst stopping off to cram a burger in my gob on the way.... Oh, and could get the train to work and have a coffee. Oh no! Now I never saw that job earlier...back to the drawing board:rotfl:0

You are not alone :rotfl:
Do you find yourself composing comments too? I was laying awake in the small hours with the brain whirring and listing words like a thesaurus.
