  • I ws accepted into Gapbusters, did all the training, then when searching for jobs, realised that they didn't cover my area (Swindon). Do the areas covered change, or are they fixed? If fixed, does anyone know any other of the mystery shopping companies that cover Swindon? As I'm a bit peeved now after going through all that

Gap only show areas with available jobs in. I'd imagine all the jobs in Swindon have now been booked out. If you check again when they release more work, it will probably show up again.
Here I go again on my own....

    Is that a mystery shop?

Well TG it is a kind of reward from Gap for doing so many shops last year for them. Didn't you get savings bonds or something like that.

HP the last time the rewards given to regular workers for Gap were talked about on the forum some people got upset so we are keeping these kind of perks to ourselves now. Sorry if you are wanting to brag but it may not be fair to those who have not reached the dizzy heights you have achieved as yet.....;)
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

Does anyone know which MS company I can make atleast £10 per shop and consistently have jobs to do ?

Just amazed at how low the fees on RE and GAP are although both seem to have the most jobs. Maybe because not many want to do jobs for a low fee?
Is this for jobs where you can only get 5 or 6 all in one area every day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, or are you now willing to take single jobs?

Oh Mharzuk how remiss of me. Such a pity as I am a bit upset with Gap. A company which as you well know I just love to bits.

They have a premium job in Glasgow. Now there is a phrase worth repeating. Every time I have tried for it it comes up someone has shopped this 5 days before/after this date please select another date. There is no other !!!!!!! date comes up. Aaargggghhhh

I have managed to get two in a single area with similar times. I have another two coming up in a sinle day but at slightly different times.

I think the trick is to do ones in areas your going to visit anyway or ones that are close to work/home.

I am prepared to travel a bit if the fee is significantly higher then the average. Too much travelling can be tiring though...

I recently bought a digital camera. Does anyone know if I can offset the cost of the camera against any profits I make from MS?

Also I know I can offset some of my heating, eletric, broadband costs from my pofits but does anyone know exactly how much would be possible?

    Thank you.

I'm not a regular poster, but I am a regular reader, in fact I have never yet asked a question on here because I have gone to the trouble of reading back through the previous threads to find out what I need to know. I can understand the frustrations of the good people who set up this thread if others do not do this. Granted every so often a new question does appear that doesn't appear to have been previously answered but some people don't seem to have gone to the trouble of doing any research prior to posting. The tax office has a website have you looked at it???? or even the front page of the thread..

Apologies but I've been MS for 3 months now and I'm still reading back the previous threads (currently on V111 page 63) so I can learn as much as I can to improve my MS experiences, why can't others do the same... Its hard work making money, and you get out of it what YOU are prepared to put in.

Merry Christmas to all and I hope we all have a successful MS'ing New Year...
