Evening all

I thought that until I needed to comment (again, so they get the point lol) that one main course had been removed from the bill. I thought the more times I tell them the better the chance of someone picking up on it - not holding my breath though .
I just put 'none' on the other questionnaires. I also like the new questionnaires, it cuts out some of the repetition although I did have to repeat myself on one question, using different wording just to reach the minimum word count lol.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Has anyone actually ever been paid a referral fee by RE?
I've referred many people from this thread, several are showing on my list, but none of them have even signed up let alone completed any jobs, and the one person that has completed a job (a friend from school), I've never been paid for!
Is this "referral scheme" actually a big con? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yep another bad mark for RE. I have referred several people and they show up in my referral box but never got a farthing from them.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
It always happens to me........went to do an egg shop this afternoon , purchased a scotch egg to bite and take back, I noticed a tear in the packet so used this to back up my acting skills while making the return, saying that was probrably why the egg tasted `off`. The lovely supervisor went to get a replacement and the wrapper of that one was torn, and the next, and the next until a whole box of scotch eggs was carried away from the chiller cabinet! I don`t know how I kept a straight face. On the questionairre it said did you notice any torn or ripped packaging in the store..........lol.:rotfl:0

I used the "Contact Us" section and sent them a message about one of my referred people pointing out that they had done lots of work and had been a member for 4 months. After a fortnight I received a reply saying "Sorry" and that it would be paid in the next pay run. And it did turn up. So chase it up.
RE are doing my head in today. I did 7 sandwich jobs for them on Monday. 5 cleared through proofing with ease over the next 3 days while the other 2 sat there all lonely. Today I had a call about one of them where they started the conversation by saying "We think you visited the wrong store". What sort of opening is that - are they expecting to confess? I have had to explain that I did visit the correct store and that they really ought to use the sandwich online store finder to check this. They then asked for a clearer receipt image. The image is crystal clear - so I've sent another along with a link to the store details. Idiots. My other one, the mos couldn't issue a receipt. So I took a photo of the store exterior and immediately phoned RE, being told each time that the controller was "on the phone". Eventually some muppet member of staff looked at the job for me, said that they had marked it as having a problem and that I should upload a dummy file to get it completed. Just had a proofing request for a receipt image, otherwise it cannot proceed. I have replied detailing at length what I did and pointing out that having spent ages on the phone to tell them about this, only to be ignored, I expect a higher fee. Idiots.0 -
they always do this with me! told me i wouldn't be paid for an italian brothers meal i did as the notes said the street name and the receipt said riverside (local name of the area it is in) so therefore i had gone to the wrong one. i obviously wouldn't expect them to have local knowledge of my area and can understand why they queried it but then they told me i had definately gone to the wrong one as they had looked at the receipts from previous reports and they said the street name. i eventually had an argument with them and told them to check with client and suprise suprise i was right and got paid! had another one exactly the same- pub was surrounded by three streets, re address said one street and receipt said another. luckily they just looked at that on google map when i told them!Mystery Shopping £1147/£2000 (Jan) :j

I have to confess that I have never had a problem with RE yet, touch wood! There are a couple of assignments which they have, which I would never touch with a bargepole as they have an endless list of questions to answer, for little reward. I'm gutted that they seem to have taken the supermarket client from GR as I'm a big fan of GR and love working for them. Their questionnaires are fantastic. That said, I've always found RE staff to be helpful. As I said in an earlier post, I can't accept their jobs when I'm using the computer at work (naughty I know!) as the browser is not IE8. However when I phoned RE, they were only too happy to allocate the job over the phone to me.
Out of all the MS companies I work for, I find Gyp staff to be the most rude.0
