  • I'm wondering if anyone can help me who's done the posh sandwich shop in Bromley High Street.

Did it today - and forgot to take the ruddy photo of the store!! Googled it, and only a postage-size pic comes up.

Has anyone got a photo of it saved ? If so I'd be so grateful if you could let me know and email it to me!!!

    Thanks, TG xxx

Use the same excuse as I did a year ago. It was heavy snow at the time so you couldn not get a usable pic. They just replied to that "Oh fine that's OK then"
Reason is they have a stock supply anyway of all the shops. I have also used that excuse when it was pouring with rain. Another time they were digging up the pavement opposite a pharmacy so I would have had to risk life and limb standing on a busy road to get a pic.

Is it me or are the payments from 'the company that doesnt like to be named' particularly late this time? I carried out a job on 5th December and have just received an email to say the payment should hit my bank a/c by next Thursday. I make that almost 7 weeks which seems ridiculous to me.

Thanks for all your replies to the RE unable to accept assignments, I have just managed to get this to open using IE 8... not much use to me as I use AOL.. so possibly an AOL compatibility problem.. I have emailed them to update on what I've done.. If I or anyone else gets a response/fixed.. can you/I share please...!!

I also would like to say that ALL the people, and I have spoken to many.. have been fab at RE, I've found them very friendly and helpful.. bless.... :D

Thanks so much.:T I have downloaded IE 8 and can now accept assignments!

This is exactly why this thread is so great....bring on the jobs.

I did my green supermarket delivery today, and when the driver dropped off the stuff, he said they're getting rid of the plastic crates and did I want to keep mine?
So I've now got 6 stackable crates that will come in very handy for storing books I'm selling on Amazon :T

It sounds like it was a job from one of the regular projects. On those, you get paid for all of the previous month's work around the 15th of the next month, with the money clearing into your account a few days later.

My RE delivery job has been proof read and payment is pending. All that worry about the store it was coming from for nothing :o
Here I go again on my own....
