Same here - if they've sent them to everyone, they're going to be so busy replying to the "Why have you sent this email to me" emails that they won't have time fo anything else.

I wouldn't mind if it was the same car in each then I could just swat up on 1 car. I fear I will get all muddled up between cars.

I put notes in my mobile phone and read just before going in to help remember but also there are often opportunities when the go off to "consult" when you can have another quick refresh. I have been known on a less confident day (or just brain dead one) to be blatant and say my husband sent me a message with all the spec and read it in front of them (I can get away with being [/QUOTE]

I sit down, take put my notebook, verify verbally with them that we are discussing the right spec and start taking notes.

If I was shopping for a car for me and had a shortlist, that's what I would do, so that's what I do. It certainly doesn't hinder price negotiations if they see you have done your homework, and I think it cuts some of the waffle.

And as for Amber Arch - i went out of my way for them a couple of months ago, so I guess that's why I got a few 'can you do these next week?' after I got the no Jan work email. Off to do them.....

Anyone had the issue that they've been unable to fully complete the brief for an ABAI Petrol job as the coffee was out of order?

Yes happened to me twice. Machine was not available as it was being cleaned. Just put that in your report. It doesn't affect your assignment. Just comment on everything else.

  • Spoke to a lovely lady at Abai as I couldn't see any petrol jobs. She offered to allocate any in my area but there were none available :( Plenty in the Brighton area and in Scotland apparently.

I spoke to her too. Lovely lady. Trouble is most in Scotland are out of the central belt ie Invuererie, Aberdeen, Dunfermline.

  • Hi. I have been looking on from the sidelines for quite a while now (it's always interesting to read what MSers are saying about the agencies) but only just registered. I need to get in touch with Mystery Shopping Ninja - have tried to send a PM but I think your inbox must be full.
Are you the same person that does the blog (looked on your profile but nothing there)? If so, please can you PM me ASAP. I would really like to speak to you about conducting a similar experiment for us. Many thanks.
