yes for anybody that does not know about this by now, it is the beef that was originally in the £8 meal deal that got scrapped due to not wanting to dissapoint customers if the deal ran out early ala last week, also the chocolate trifles that was part of the offer are £1.50 or 2 for £2
Take every day as it comes!!
  • I fancied a couple of these to go with Christmas Dinner ... I was worried that my local store would have none, so I've just called and spoken to the butcher, who said he'd put a couple of 'nice ones' to the side for me! Perfect! So, if you're after these, it might be worth phoning your local.

Hubby just rang me from Morrisons where I sent him this morning (after Boots. :D)

They do have the beef but it is normal price here & not 2 for 1. :(

Sadly then, for some reason, it is not all stores.

    Oooooooh. Edit. Edit Edit. :)

Hubby argued the toss with them...because his wife had told him, lol...and they tried 2 through the till, & guess what, it came out as bogof, so he's come home with 2 beef joints.
The staff didn't know..it seems a few of them will be buying them in their lunch break.
Sooo, if you find yourself in the same position as me, try it, it should work.

Try ASDA where it is actually slightly cheaper :)

They are selling lovely beef joints for just £4 per kilo (Morrisons would be £4.16/kg on the BOGOF)

Bought a 3.7kg one on Thursday and cut it up into 2 nice joints and diced the remainder to make a "steak" and mushroom in ale pie since it was cheaper than all the other beef available.

A 900g joint of beef for £7.50 and its buy one get one free. Was supposed to be part of the £8 meal deal offer which changed.

Said it ends the 28th but tbh they were flying from the fridges! I think its supposed to be one offer per customer but i got 3 lots with no problems.

This is not marked up in tamworth store and is in the the main chiller with the rest of the meats. The only thing that makes it stand out from the rest of the standard stock is the plastic container it is in rather than the styrofoam trays. It is scanning at bogof and the staff didnt even know about it.
