The weekend before would be fab - you could come on your own so you could get p*ssed, and still spend your birthday with your family.

Am I a dreadful mother for thinking these thoughts??? :rotfl:

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • ok, I've been naughty! :D

  • Sorry, didn't mean to disappear.
Am really fed up and angy now.
Dad has just been round to put up extending fireguard thing to keep Samuel out of the fireplace. Taken him over an hour to drill 2 holes and the lounge now looks like a bmb has gone off.

DD1 is now not going to London BUT they are going into Leicester tonight AND they want to go out to lunch. I now have to defrost the carto drive over and will doubtless have to come back in the rush hour. She knows I hate driving in ice and snow. Husband is at home but 'working'!

Plus I still have DD2's carpet and unit in the garage and tumble dryer and ottoman in the dining room. I can't get to the stuff I need to sort for Christmas.

The JC and solicitors are naggng me to fill in forms but I never get the time yet alone time to apply for jobs. And I really did want to make those cards today.

Sorry, but I am so ****** angry!

That's not much each though is it? Is that for 2 nights then?

Bookie, make a list of all these things that need doing and just tackle a couple of important ones. You've got a lot on your hands at the moment so break it up into manageable chunks otherwise you're going to make yourself ill with all this and it's just not worth it!

If you don't want to go out then don't go! Stay warm and make the cards instead!

  • That's for Fri-Sun.

In a way, would be fun without kids...but couldn't get anyone to have them for 2 nights...and would want DH to come...
