Is it just the laptop, or is the Xbox still not picking up the wireless network either?0
-
xbox not either, although the one downstairs does, hubby says thats cause its hardwired though0

On the laptop, right click on the wireless icon in the taskbar, (bottom right - looks like a TV), and left click on 'View Available Wireless Networks' Can you see your network? What does it say next to it? It should say 'Connected'0

If they're silly enough to have an unlocked network, that's their fault lol.

Seriously though, if you've pressed the reset button on the router, you may need to reconnect the laptop and the xbox because you have probably lost the network name and WEP / WPA key, (whichever you used to set it up). From the hardwired PC (especially if you're connected via a neighbour's wireless connection - you don't want to !!!!!! their wireless up lol), go to the router settings, (in IE taskbar type 192.168.0.1) You may need to enter the username and password, which is probably admin / password. You should be able to check the router settings from there.0
