Right here:for godsake could cashier not have said something?You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -

If you know one that wouldn't don't keep it to yourself there's millions of people out there would switch accounts to them.
I recently wrote a cheque which took me significantly over my o/d limit (£800 over). A&L honoured the cheque, for which I was very glad! They charged me £38 for the priviledge of course, but better than the embarrassment of a bounced cheque.
[Please note I am not recommending A&L to anyone by the way - the reason I went over my limit was because their rubbish online banking has locked me out of my account for more than 3 months now, and their telephone banking advisor wrongly told me that there were sufficent funds in the account to pay the cheque. I am switching my account to Barclays as a result of this debacle. But still, I am glad they paid rather than bounced the cheque...]0 -
