you did well
£9.50 x 3 = £28.50
less 50% = £14.25
less 3 for 2 (original price) -£9.50
= £4.75 less the Vat

if that method works for all we should have got the kids crackers cheaper
£5 x 3 = £15
less 50% = £7.50
less 3 for 2 (original price) - £5
= £2.50 less vat reduction.

Oh dear - tried 3 packs of £15 gold ones....checkout showed me 3 4 2 and 50% off, waited phoned my mum to see if she wanted them then changed quantity and cant get 342 as well now. Should have just gone for it...she who delays!
