How long do natwest take to payout a claim for mis selling of PPI?

Hi just a update, I had a phone call last Thursday from RBS From The LAdy Who IS actually named as the case officer in charge of my claim on the last letter I recieved making offer. She was a lot nicer than the guy I spoke to who swore. She Did actually appologise. She agreed that the letter that she had sent was misleading. And promised the money would be in my account today (Monday 11th January) . I have checked my account continually this morning and guess what. Suprise suprise no money. I phoned up this morning to speak to her to ask what is going on and the reply I got was sorry she is on another call can we take your number and we will get her to ring you back. They refused to put me through to any one else. I have not had any call back. Ill ring again in a minute. I have had no response to my email yet. either. It is getting rediculous.

I am so sorry that you are being treated this way I dont know what to suggest, I hope they recorded the telephone conversation with the swearing man I would be going bonky about this (pmt kicking in). Hoping this is sorted for you now.

Hi Good News every one, I phoned up Again and Finally after some shouting managed to speak to One of the Managers. After Shouting at the manger He Disapeared then came back appologised and with in 10 minutes the money was in my current account. Yay. I can't believe it im so Happy. I really was getting fed up I really did not think I would see the money. On top of this as a way of appology they paid a additional £800 in to my loan account. Result.:beer: :j

Now to start on my second loan. Does any one know if barclays are as bad as natwest. Ill start a new thread for this

Hi there,

I know this is an old post but wondered if anyone had expeirenced what I have.

Logged a complaint with Natwest regarding my PPI on the 22.06.12, received a offer letter at the end of July, signed this and sent it back special delivery which was signed for on the 06.08.12

I called the PPI team to confirm they had received it almost everyday and just kept getting excuse after excuse ...some of them were unreal and quite laughable!! Not to mention how rude some of the staff were!!!

So, after almost a month after they finally agreed to send me a new letter, not once but twice these are still yet to be seen. On the 31.08.12 I got a text saying they had received my letter and they typicallt take up to 28 days to make the payment.....this original letter was signed for on the 6th!!!!!

Has anyone else had this and how long did the money take to hit your account after the text wqs sent?
