You'll get cold water on most if the pressure is too low.

Depends on where the water comes from.

the water comes from the loft so higher than the shower if that makes a difference. The supply for the shower was tapped into my en-suite sink tap pipe if that makes sense

If the shower is on the top floor your pressure wont be more than .1 or .2 bar.

Probably a little less depending on the run (hopefully thats ok).

So you need a low pressure shower (check the manual) or to fit a pump or to feed off the mains. You could also add another raised cistern in the roof to feed the shower.

If the manual says its a low pressure shower you have probably installed it wrong.

  • Having said all that I just looked at Triton website & on of their low pressure showers has a minimum 1 bar feed.

Best put the model number up.

    Who fitted them?
Not a good shower for low pressure, and should be fed off a rising main.
May need 10mm cable, so a smaller shower would have worked as well, and been a cheaper option to fit.
Having said that, if it's low pressure mains, a tank fed hot and cold power shower would have been my first choice, as you can't really increase mains pressure easily.
There should be a low pressure indicator on the shower, is this coming on, and does the good shower trip out when you flush the toilet or turn the taps on?

Check the stopc0ck is turned fully on, then it's down to the water board.
In my experience, they'll check it, and if water comes out of the tap they'll say it's acceptable. What about the indicator and the other shower, does it switch off?
