Beware Replica Phones!

It was cheeky considering the whole listing/item description advertised a brand new sony, but I couldn't really leave negative feedback as he had written it down despite a lack of a 'true' description elsewhere, and I didn't want to get neg feedback from him.
Now I'm the proud owner of a 'sany electronics' phone which admittedley isn't all that bad, all things considered, but it isn't the real thing so there are inevitable pitfalls.
Has anyone else made this classic error? and any good ideas for selling it on?
(I'm waiting to here from the recycle companies to see if I'd get anything for it...it cost £100 so I'd be happy with half of that seeing that it was my mistake)

Put it back on ebay (copy his description!)

You can complain and claim back your money depending if he wrote the word Sony in there.

Thanks I'll give that a go.
(I'm not going to stoop to his level by listing it again as I don't think that's fair on anyone else!)0 -
MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
Id have left negative feedback and got angry with him, if it looks like a scam, smells like a scam, then it is a scam - that he wrote in tiny letters 'replica' at the bottom does not excuse him. We all know the deal, he is trying to pass something off as something it isnt, to pretend he is transparently selling replicas is an insult to all of our collective intelligences! Follow it up. Dont sell it on in the same way, that makes you as scumy as he.Debt: a bloomin big mortgage

What did you get? A K750i with the fascias changed? Or is it a toy phone that looks like a W800i?0

Don't let the seller get away with it so easily. Report the seller to eBay. Don't allow someone else to be ripped off like you have been. If everyone was like you these sellers would continue to scam people. You should have left negative feedback to warn future potential buyers. If the seller had left you a neg in retaliation you could have easily followed-it up with a factual reply.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
How were they ripped off? It's not the seller's fault if people can't read (or are too lazy too!).0
