What is the number you ring on t-mobile to find out your existing balance? (other than 150)

And what number do you ring to find out your own mobile number (in case I forget)

AFAIAA, it's 789 (well it is on my Virgin PAYG mobile which, I think, is the same as T-mobile).

Ignore LR-O's reply, that'll cost you a lot of money if you dial.

    hi

i have seen on leaflets in megazines/papers from t- mobile
and it says calls to customers services charged at .50p per minute including the automated messages to a maximaum of £5.00.

would you join a mobile company which charges so much ???

i used to be with t-mob and when you dial 150 they don't give the option to speak to CS i remember getting through accounts/billing department to cancel my contract around the time when started charging for itemised billing.
don't know if things have changed since ???

Calls to 150 are free for pay monthly customers.

PAYG customers only get charged if they speak to someone - 25p/call - but if you just want to check your balance, the call is also free - they tell you your balance automatically as soon as the call is connected.

The offer you mention is/was for a particular price plan which was available over the internet. The deal was a cheaper line rental in exchange for being charged for calls to customer service

Calls to T-Mobile are charged at 25p per call on PAYG irrespective what you call for.
    From their website:

    Call 150 from your T-Mobile
(Standard Pay monthly plans - Free; Pay as you go - 25p per call; Online plans - 50p per minute (Max £5 per call))
Call 0845 412 5000 from a landline (charged at local toll rates).
