Well, I'm 3 days into my 'only spend £20 week' and so far I've spent nothing. Gotta last til friday, should be fine. Have to buy a bus pass tomorrow, but apart from that there's nothing essential to buy.

I'm finally feeling 100% again, so I'll do some exercise later. Maybe while watching the tennis, I'll feel all virtuous then

I always feel as though I'm in some kind of limbo the week after being being paid. All of my payments have gone down, I've examined my spreadsheets thoroughly and it's too early to start looking at next months. I guess I've achieved stuff this month. Started making lunch every day, eating healthily, paid more than £100 extra off my debts. Not much really, but it got me below a milestone so it was worth doing. I guess I need to set my next target. It'd be sensible to aim for less than £15k now, but that's soooo far away! Man it's so frustrating sometimes isn't it? I just need to DO something. Argh

How about smaller targets then? To build yourself up to the sub 15k?

That way it won't seem like such a big target and quite so far off into the future.

Doing really well with the no spend today, well done you....... I didnt lol, but am building myself up to tomorrow :)

I thought about that, but then decided each £1k was a rubbish target! I think I might go for £2.5k though, thanks!

Some mornings I just wake up and it's like "what, I'm still in debt? How can this be?!" :rotfl:

    Had an awesome day today!

3 hours sleep, woke up bouncing. Tuesdays at work are usually hell, but today was great. Mainly because of someone else's illness, but never mind!

Still on track for spending less than £20 in a week. Two days to go and I've only spent £8.50 on my bus pass :T

Good news 1 - get a monthly bonus with work, but we lose it if we take time off. I was off all last week sick, but my lovely boss told me today he was still giving it to me. Wooooh!

Good news 2 - plus an extra bonus! Woooh!

Really pleased about this, was thinking I was gonna be a little low on funds next month, but it'll be ok now.

Oh, and I cut my finger. It hurts.

    Hey C

I badly need new trainers, so I may get some next month. Might just save the extra though!

Another ace day at work. Everything's going well at the minute. Although some old cow did shout at me today. Just gave her a bit of sarcasm back and told her I'd call her on saturday

Cut myself again today, my job's dangerous, man!

Still got £11.50 left of my £20 tadaaaaaaaaa! So I can spend all that tomorrow :p Nah, think what I'll do is keep to the £20 per week rule and just add £8.50 in tomorrow. I still don't really need to buy anything, tho I am going out tomorrow night (for once!). I won't spend much though. I hope...

I was thinking today how when I was little 20p seemed like an absolute fortune. I don't think I saw a pound coin til I was 16! Then when I was at uni £50 was nothing, just throw it away on some trousers or a night out. I think I've reverted back to my childhood now though. My voice echoing through Tesco "Two pounds? I'm not paying two pounds for that, two pounds is loads!!!"

lol 20p used to buy you so much when you were younger too!

Now it doesnt make a dent!

Well done on the saving! Maybe you could try and lower the limit for next week, and say budget with £15! Since you managed to stay well within that anyway!

Enjoy yourself tonight anyway! You deserve it after doing so well this week!

    Oooh £15. We'll see ;)

Had a great night last night, and only spent £3 on half a cab home! Didn't spend anything on drinks as there was money behind the bar and I was plastered :rotfl:

Work was fine, got all dirty and messy but it was vaguely satisfying! Two days off now, yay

Had a nice parcel when I got home, all the lovely free makeup from the magazine I subscribed to.

    'part from that, nothing new.
