Hey Peaches,
Just wanted to ask how you've been getting on with the whole DFW thing? Well done on the mags thru quidco, I'd never have thought of buying things thrrough that kind of system before this website!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi C-girl, I'm ok thanks
Payday today, and I've just paid off my lowest debt and I'm now sub £20k woooohNext target is £300 ish which I'm hoping will be gone by sept.
I'm really ill tho! Came down with pretty bad tonsillitis on monday and I've been in bed since then. Can't get excited about paying off my debt, just feel soooo rough. Today's about the first time I've been out of bed. So hungry! On the upside, I've spent no money since saturday apart from £13ish on two prescriptions for antibiotics. Maybe I should get ill more often :rotfl: probably won't be back at work til friday
Oh, and £3 on cold sore cream!DFW Nerd #104 I :heartpuls my Kittenand my hat :heartpuls

Gah
Still ill, mouth full of nasty things so not eating and not going out spending. Blessing in disguise if it weren't so painful!
On the dfw front, finally got a cheque for just over £100 which is for some expenses going back months that they lost my first claim for then obviously didn't have receipts, then lost my photocopies! That's going straight into my savings account towards my debts next month when I can eventually stagger out the house... :jDFW Nerd #104 I :heartpuls my Kittenand my hat :heartpuls

Sorry to hear you're ill!! I hope you feel better soon!!
On the magazine front you can quite often get them 3 issues for a £1 - which I have been doing for AGES now!!
Money saving is fun for me now (although have been doing a rubbish job lately!!) - I love getting bargains & freebies!!
This will be the best thing you have ever done & the time will fly by, trust me!!
Best of luck.

Good job on finally getting the £100 you were owed. I often find I forget about so many of those things, like the odd £3 or £5 for work etc and then never claim and then lose receipts, but at least you've got yours and it's going towards paying back your debts!
Hope you feel better soon, is it a flu thing you've got? It's horrid being ill during summer but hopefully it'll work its way out your system soon, take it easy hun xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Thanks ms_l, I'll look into the 3 for £1 dealo. And you're dead right, time is going quickly!
It's tonsillitis C, but it's almost all gone now, although it is leaving behind some interesting cold sores and mouth ulcers (mmm, attractive!). I'm getting way addicted to Bonjela now though :rotfl:DFW Nerd #104 I :heartpuls my Kittenand my hat :heartpuls

I used to get the dreaded T all the time when I was younger, I used to use bonjela, as well as gargle with salt water to get rid of the horrible little white spots that grow on your tonsils. Plenty of fluids and all that!
Glad to hear its going, slowly but surely!
Have a good day!
P.S Have you noticed that you and I always seem to reply to each other's diaries as well as our own at the same time? When I find yours, I find mine lolWealth is not measured by currency0
