Evening All, Hope Everyone is well.
After some Techie advice.. Hope someone can help me.
I have got Sky Plus in the lounge, and am now buying a second TV for the bedroom.
Obviously i want to have Sky in the bedroom now and i have seen these wireless AV transmitters about so i dont have to !!!! about with loads of wires..
But, what i was wondering is does anyone know of, or have they heard of.. A Wireless transmitter, from the lounge to the bedroom for example, That i can then control the sky box from, from the bedroom.. If you get me :S
I know i dont word things well, But i want to be layed in bed and then change the channel from the bedroom, to the sky box in the lounge.. via the wirelss TV thingy.. :S
Hope someone can help
Many Thanks in advance, and Merry Xmas All..

Hi there,
I posted about this last week and someone recommended this one. Take a look - it has quite good reviews. However, I was advised that the best reception/picture will come from having the box wired directly to my portable TV. Is this something you could consider?
I am upgrading to Sky+ tomorrow, so will ask if the installer if he can also link it up to my other TV.

really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -

I'd be very suprised if he'd have the time. The amount of work we got & the distance between jobs often meant we did'nt even have time for lunch let alone doing extras for customers.
Each job is timed useing a point matrix system.
Anyway,I'd be very wary of buying those as some can interfear with wireless broadband & phone's (especially Actiontec routers!) but the reviews on that one seems OK.0 -
Thanks Spike. One engineer did a cash job for me in a previous property, but I appreciate he might not have time. Always worth an ask eh?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Cant hurt.If he's local he may be able to pop back & do it.0

If it's possible a wired option (using TV Link & RF2 on the back of your Sky box) is better than the Video Senders, have tried a couple of them & there OK, but it all depends on how thick your walls are, how are from the sender box the reciever box is & they can be susceptible to interference.0

The standard TV links you get in argos ect are'nt much cop,I prefer to fit these ones
Half the price & designed for use with the new flat screen TV's.

The advantage with this type is the connection block does'nt plug directly into the back of the TV,so the is little chance of the soldered connections inside breaking (Especially if the TV is in a tight space.) as in the ones below.

Hi
We have an AV sender from Argos the transmitters are triangle shaped and a little thread hangs over the Sky plus box downstairs, it cost about £25 and we have had it about 2 years. We watch Sky plus no problem in our room, you have to buy a second remote though we got one off ebay for £80 -
i recommend the AV sender at argos £29 i think. I tried the £69 Amazon one but it was carp and kept cutting out. the cheap Argos was was brill (try it and take it back if it doesnt work!)0
