Hi Keza,
Well done on listing, I still haven't done it:)
I think I'll leave BB for now, it doesn't worth the hassle. You have to spend your cash to play the bonus, but there is no way you can be over £50.
BAck to work tomorrow as well, really not looking forward to it, have had a couple of nice days with OH.0 -
You could try your winnings in the slots, a few people have managed to get over £50 winnings through using the slots.
Im back to work tomorrow too, think im going to find it hard getting up early again!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Hi all! How awful is it being back at work?! Train journey this morning was hell as engineering works over ran (surprise surprise!)
On the bright side, it’s only 3 weeks today until payday haha! I tell ya it’s all I think about nowadays – money, payday and debt! Roll on 107 days! Lol!!!
We are living mostly off the cupboards and freezer this month. Hoping to keep the shopping below £75! I have already spent £45 but in all honesty we only need the usual fresh stuff like bread and milk to carry us thru the next few weeks!
Fingers crossed the Barclaycard PPI refund goes into my account this week, then I can pay that straight off Virgin bringing it down to £3,700. Ever more closer to 0!!
No pad for me again today as don’t think I will have the money to last me the 3 weeks. £109 in bank account at mo but £80 is for Direct Debits! *cringe*.
So how did everyone manage getting up for work this morning?Current Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Morning,
Freezing cold this morning, I cycled:D. I love my bike but not in this weather. Although even the weather can't make me to sit on nr 35 bus for an hour to get to work.
Fingers cross on Barclaycard, I've been far too good with money, never needed to pay any charges to the bank-my cr card is fully paid off at the end of the month.
BB changed again the rules, I guess we're back to business:p.0 -
Well another day where I was late for work by almost an hour again! I wudnt mind but I leave the house at 7.30 in the morning when the temp is like minus a million degrees! Grrr ! stoopid trains! Make me so angry when I pay so god damn much every year to use their service! And they’ve just put my price up by a sneaky £8 a year! Yes I know its only small compared to some but I already pay just short of £3k a year!! Phew! Rant over!
Ok today is anther NSD for me, as was yesterday. Found a penny on my way to work this morning so I picked it up and hoping to have some good luck for the rest of the day. Bank accounts are still in an ok position. Just need to be careful with my remaining pennies in the coming weeks.
Sending off my broken phone at lunch to get repaired or a new one sent. Will then flog it as got a new one in the meantime which I Love! Hate these silly touch screen things! Give me buttons any day!
Got a bid on one of my ebay items so far still with just under 6 days to run aswell so that’s good news! Got left over spag bol for lunch today. Yum! Wish I had some garlic bread to go with it lol!
Have a good day all! 19 days till blessed payday!Current Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Hey Keza, great thread so far, keep up the good work! £9k is a huge a mount to shift in just 130 days but i say go for it
How much have you managed since you started this challenge? This Friday my 1 debt in 100 days challenge starts but to be honest i dont have much more than £2k, cant get an exact figure right now which is really annoying! But il follow you on and steal some of your ideas for extra income. Any tips for me?
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

I know what you mean about the phones-saying that I'm thinking about getting an Iphone on my upgrade this month:o. I've had the same phone for about 4 years, than found one in Italy while on holiday (an old Nokia Music Xpress), but the battery is crap, it needs charging every day. OH wants me to get the Iphone, and he's been bugging me every day so I kind of like the idea. Not liking the price though. At the moment only paying £15 per month for 800 min and 100 text. We shall see, I've got other things on my mind this week.
Have you got your BB bonus today? I still haven't received mine. I still have 25 days till payday:cool:.0 -
hiya rictus! thanks for the note! i think i have cleared about £400 so far but thats coz its jan. come the 25th i will have paid a further £1500 or there abouts.
little steps and all that! x
