I've just noticed that my post that replied to Afriend which stated "that's because I think you're a c*nt" after he asked why I didn't think him more has been deleted.

As it was completely obvious I was joking (to the point where Afriend thanked it) was there any need to remove it? Or was it because of the word c*nt? I should point out that the asterix in that word is an 'e', which refers to the monetary unit which represents 1/100 of any given basic monetary unit.

Mods: hopefully you can now reinstate the post to it's rightful, satirical home.

Whilst we're on the subject, I still think the BA cabin crew are being a right old group of 1/100th monetary units at the moment.

I think Unions in general are a good thing. It's when they wield too much power that they're counter productive.

    The RMT for example.
Oh really ! Being a member of the RMT for many years, I can tell you that we (Railway workers) would not have such good T&C's if it were not for the RMT union.

So unless you actually kow what you are talking about, then dont !

Unions have a place but they have to be realistic. Everyone wants a pay rise but after the last year I am happy I still have a job.

The problem with a lot of unions is that they are led by Dinosaurs (Bob Crow) who appear to live in a different universe to everyone else.

The one that always get me is when the tubes go on strike. I mean how hard done by they are £36 grand a year around 40 days holiday a year to drive a bloody train which is on rails anyway. As far as difficulty goes I would assume that driving a bus is 100 times more difficult.
    Iva started Dec 2018.
  • michaelvintner - You clearly are a CLOWN, who knows nothing about railways.

lostinrates. You pretend to be very much whiter than white, preaching a higher set of morality and ethics.
However, when your favourite calls someone a c u n t you can't wait to thank them?
From the context it was used in, it was obviously not meant to mean cent.

I have never pretended to be whiter than white.

I do try not to thank the nasty posts though....
  • Heres the reaction of the union members when the strike vote was announced.

About 1 min 4 sec in if you don't want to watch it all.

Not sure it was that loud when Everton beat United to get to the FA cup final last year (sorry StevieJ !)

As previously stated...Many of the BA staff are quite prepared to go to hell in a handcart. They despise Walsh and his bully boy tactics and as quoted to me.."We are prepared the bring the company to its knees to get rid of him".

Its a form of mass hysteria tinged with madness yet Mr Walsh insists on continuing with this charade by going to court over it!

    He must surely loose.

    He must resign.

His board and major shareholders will have his head within weeks.

He has failed as a manager.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • Can they not just fly without the cabin crew?

If it was a choice between not having my flight at all and having my flight sans warmed over bun and glass of caustic Shiraz, I think I'd take the latter.

Just go to Boots in the airport beforehands £3.99 meal deal with a drink and bobs your uncle.
