weimies are known generally to have seperation anxiety, and so should be handled carefully from puppies to accept being left. they tend to be one person/family dogs due to the way they were originally used.
it sounds like these owners havent trained it to be left very well, but that doesnt help you or the dog. i would have to say something because of the stress that dog is going through. hopefully, they wont take it as personal, but as you being a concerned dog lover. after all, how would they know it happens all the time if the dog stops when it hears the car.
thinking on it, they must know something, why else would he sneak up to the house when you called them back from the pub?0 -

It was only because we told them that this is what was happening - that the dog always shuts up the minute it hears their car.
Gettingready, you would not want my eldest Pug on her own, never mind 4 more! She can drive you mad! She is so naughty and its so frustrating when she has an important receipt or other such paper in her mouth and is playing "chase me" around the house. She is impossible to catch unless there are two of you and you just know the paper is going to be eaten before you get to her!:p That is, unless she has found someone's memory stick or mobile phone!0 -

You'll soon send her back!:p
She's had eye operations, leg operations (luckily she's insured!)and she's quite deaf so we tend to let her get away with more. She's the pic in my avatar. We have the xmas tree barracaded off otherwise she will have eaten all the decorations (as well as the needles) off it. (Its 6 foot and plastic) If you leave paper/boxes/pens/cds/dvds/laptop leads etc lying around she will grab them and look at you to chase her, which she loves you to do. If its the afternoon then I can't go upstairs without her. Mornings are ok.0 -
So why do they keep getting this same breed! :wall:
My heart sank when I saw that they had bought yet another one!!! They are gorgeous dogs but you don't have one if you are out at work a lot.
getting same breed? they certainly shouldnt.
they are not thinking of the dog, just themselves. they are high maintenence in the excercise dept and need alot of mental stimulation aswell. i fear their dogs dont get either.0
