Morning everybody
Kaz the wrapped fudge looks fabulous - WTG you !!!
Boddy i am glad the police didnt speak to Mum - I had been thinking she might have found it strange and upsetting - I hope they get to the bottom of it - Nice to hear she is more settled again.
toochoosey you can do the attic - no problems - 5 minutes here and there - just run up the stairs and deal with the first thing that you come to - either bin it or put it to one side tidily if you are keeping it - i know its probably cold up there so dont be long just grab and do!!!!! before you know it you will have made a huge space and it will soon be tidy!
kazm you have a month before you go back to work all going well so why not try to do at least 4 boxes from the attic - thats one a week - there is bound to be stuff you can throw without anybody in the family objecting?

Hi everyone ((squishy hugs)) for you all, not going to read through just so I can get more done. Been fling fling flinging, we have nice bin/recycling men here thankfully who got rid of excess cardboard (decluttered usable boxes to friend who is moving) 3 sacks of 'too little' clothes from the boys decluttered & more. DS2s school performance 1.30 so have until 1 to get stuff done.
Oh, pleased we moved, LL has missed her mortgage payment....company phoned me to ask if we had her new address, told them she's moved back in.
Right best get a wiggle on, toodles x x xOne day I might be more organised...........

Hi all,
DD1 off her course today as been sick.
I need to finish washing mountain and get it dried...all hail the tumble dryer.:j
Having read the prearing in advance before christmas dinner I'd like to attempt getting some roasts pre done and frozen, thanks JayJay for the tips amongst others.:D
I do need more freezer space though which I haven't got at the mo.
Also need to clean out the chickens, poor things are getting blown about out there today, its very blustery.
I've decided to try and save money, be organised and move into healthier eating by looking into the free range/organic veg and meat boxes.
This would hopefully put a halt to my spending in shops. I would buy direct from farms and butchers and have sourced a localish veg box scheme which I'd like to visit and there is a butcher out by the coast who does fantstic pork, its just getting out to do it.
Anyways going to pop and do some phone calls.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Typical... I've got an incredibly busy day today and now have a splitting headache that looks like becoming a migraine. I think I should cancel my sports massage now (have to leave for it in an hour (which will give me a couple of hours back for recovery)... I feel bad, and I also know that I NEED the appointment... maybe I can reschedule for tomorrow/early next week...
FFP - thanks for the tip on cleaning the stove glass! It's come up beautifully (I didn't take the glass out, so the edges aren't great), and it was even cheaper than using vinegar(and less effort/smell). I'll keep my ancient dishcloths for cleaning the stove now (so I feel like that's even less waste)... I'm just wondering what else I can use all that ash for  as there is plenty of it. Hex, Dusty - do you put ash in your compost? Or would it be good for digging into clay soil? I guess I need to do some research... I know my dad puts it round fruit trees...
Downstairs hoovered... painkillers taken and I'm just having a quick coffee in the hope that it helps.0 -
Just a heads up to people, Argos have the offer of spend £50 get £5 and spend £100 get £10 back, in case you are getting anything from them for christmas or otherwise.
Starts tomorrow.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Called to cancel massage - she was very relieved as she's very busy, so I don't feel bad about it. Just checked the documents I have to review for tomorrow - there was only one earlier today and three more have now appeared! Hopefully they'll be useful ones this time... better print them off and have a look.
Two loads of laundry done today. Gym kit drying on airer, a few bits in the bathroom, but most in the TD sadly, as washing line is still out of action (plus there isn't really time to use it on work from home days at this time of year). At least the laundry backlog is gone now... just that one duvet cover to iron...0
