carlsberg (((hugs))) as mine are so little I simply cannot imagine any of them leaving home let alone going away to somewhere like that ... not surprised you want to cry esp with all the other emotional stuff you have going on at the moment.

pooh - sorry to hear about the driving (or lack thereof), not a good time of year to not be allowed

jojo - (((hugs)) for you, how is BF in himself ?

Thanks all for the replies re hubbys work thing.
To those who asked, they dont want to push for the money, for various reasons, one of which being they dont want to antagonise the other lot into producing a competitive product and then undercutting us on price and then we would be stuffed Alls fair in love and business :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm feeling better than I was earlier, I came on here pretty much straight after DH had called so not much time to digest. But as I walked the children back from school I just loved being with them and hearing about their day and that made everything seem better :D Although now they are arguing and whining and I cant wait for bedtime :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Pooh sorry to hear about the driving, is it just a tempory thing?

Carlsberg hugs you sure do have a lot to deal with right now

Jill - these things always happen for a reason, it could be that a better deal will be on the cards in the future and you'll look back and think it was a blessing in disguise

Kitchen all done bar the mopping which I'll do once the dinner is in the AGA

Hex - thanks for stopping by it was lovely to meet you

Rosepink - they're lovely & must take ages..

Ok, I'd better get off this sofa & think about sorting something out for dinner then get back to my non flying list of things that I need to finish before the end of the day..it could be a late night! I probably won't make it back here later & maybe not tomorrow, I'm taking my Dad out for the day to do his Christmas shopping & he lives over 50 miles away, so catch you all in a day or so I expect!

Wishing you a very happy birthday Diva and JayJay xx

Carlsberg - massive, massive hugs to you xx

Poohbear - sorry to hear about the driving. I had to give up for 6 months when the children were little due to a dizziness problem and it took some getting used to. Grab lifts from people when you can! Hope poochy is settling in well.....I think I missed what he's called? xx

Jill - how frustrating that it was so close but not quite...I'm sure something waaaaay better is round the corner xx

I've done all the 'bits' from my list and a few extra but need to go and tidy now before I pick DS up. He's being interviewed for the local paper because he did so well in his TaeQuonDo competition despite being so poorly. I'm very proud of him (also very proud off DD of course!).

Ooooh got a bargain today. I needed some new lights for one of the trees because the wires had snapped on the last, very old set. DH did remove all the old bulbs though. I went to garden centre where everything was very expensive. Then I saw one box of 100 lights reduced to £1.99 because 7 bulbs were missing. Bought it quickly and got home to find out it was the same bulbs DH had been removing for ages last night! Result!

Right, enough waffling! HHC 515 until 615, then pick up DS, feed him, take them to school carol concert, come home and put feet up!

    Hugs to you all xx
