Slightly OT I know, fedupandskint is making gingerbread... can anyone point me in the direction of a delicious gingerbread men recipe? Will add this to my list of things to do today, it'll be a great treat for me doing all the decorating!

I dont know any of the parents:confused:although one of the mums offered to take them to and from school before the sch sorted funding though so i might give her a ring if i can dig out her number and see if she is going and if she would mind letting them tag along, thanks for that, didnt even occure to me. Its frustrating because i would prefer to go in my wheelchair but i have no way of getting it down our front steps into the taxi. I can manage very well on my frame i'm just not sure if i should be going. The OT and physio's are coming out this afternoon so i think i'll ask their advice and see what they think. Why wouldnt the school be happy? x

Zoe have you thought about phoning up a taxi firm and seeing they would help with the wheel chair if you really want to go but make sure that you don't knock yourself out.

The school should be working in partnership with the parents so should try and help you, in my mind.
Definitely speak to the OT and physio.

LL-- thinking of you today. You are in my thought +++

Diva and Jay Jay- Happy Birthday.

Any one for a HHC as 12.30?

Well nothing else done off todays list as yet but have thoroughly cleaned the Shower Room and worn down a toothbrush cleaning the grouting  Having a coffee break now til 1.15 when I will be doing HHI if anybody wants to join me. Just taken delivery of my Xmas wine so need to find a home for that first :T
Zara – thanks for link but the problem is that he is spraying and urinating. Had the spraying problem with him before when we took in my fathers cat but eventually got over that. Jinky did say on FB that she knew of a cat doing this when suffering from dementia icon9.gif Maybe a trip to the vets is on the cards
Rosepink – Lucky you being taken out for lunch, you must be appreciated. Enjoy
Pigpen – :rotfl: at the squirt of sweetness up the bum. Packing  I need to sort out buying the presents first. I have at long last made a start but really need to get sorted with the rest of the buying this week
Signs of Recovery and Ali63 – Welcome and I can guarantee this thread really does help
Zoe – Dont know your circumstances but from what I have read, if you have any doubts that the trip would be too much for you then it probably would be. You obviously want to be there for them but you must think of yourself too. I would speak to the OT and physio. Hugs coming your way
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun ;)

Jayjay I tried to send you an ecard but your email address from the flylady list bounced back..sorry..I'll try again if you want to pm me your email..

Sorry about this - I've grown my fingernails for the first time in 50 years (and I'm not joking:eek:) so a lot of my typing has typo's.

So where my email says numb it should read humb.

Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes - It has been lovely spending my lunch half hour reading them, but off to the grindstone again now:D
