Just de-cluttered some tea and toast and am sat watching the man service and sort out our gas fire. Soooo much grit and stuff down behind it that has come down the chimney... It has a cover on it but the seagulls love to nest up there.
He has been here about an hour so far, but we always use him for gas/plumbing work and so it's nice to catch up with him.
Hope you are all wrapped up warm, cannot believe it's going dark again already.
Cat hasn't moved from my side, she hates the cold, keeps trying to sit on the laptop as it's the warmest thing in the house right now!

Escaped from snowy south coast for the Christmas break so can't do any flying at the flat but will do some flying whilst in sunny Gloucestershire. Saw DGS's playgroup nativity yesterday and blubbed all the way through - that's what Grannies are supposed to do aren't they?? Spent yesterday trying to clean DD's oven - think I'll need to out oven cleaner in it everyday!!

Happy Birthday to AandW's and belated greetings to Crafty (and anyone else I missed).

Hoping for the Best Christmas Pressie Ever on Monday - keeping fingers tightly crossed.

Hugs to everyone who needs one.

  • Afternoon, everyone  We seem to have made plenty of money for the hospice (it's in sealed cans, so we can't count it :o ). I stopped off to leave gifts with a friend, and her 2yo DS has requisitioned my Santa hat :rotfl: Got home to HM London Particular soup and HM cheesey bread. DH had collected the tree, and put up the cards. He and DD are now making the wreths, so I'm making myself scarce :D DS has gone out to challenge the "little kids" to snowballs

    Anyone for a HHC 15:00 - 15:30 :j

Hugs Piggers, I know how difficult things are at your end. I suppose the question has to be what do the children want to do? Have they said?
