  • (((hugs))) pigpen - are you feeling ok being away from Mimi on her birthday? I always found DD's birthdays the most difficult time, more so than Christmas if she was spending that particular night with KH (have stolen your initials, so much more appropriate than X heh heh)

frodders - wrap up warm luv. I take you must live about 5 mins away from the stadium as its the early kick off today? Hope you win today ;)

    Afternoon all,

    Happy Birthday AnW's Mum & Mimi.

I've spent most of this morning trying to make window decorations with DS2. I bought the set about 2 years ago and forgot about it:rolleyes: so all the glitter glue had dried up. We ended up colouring in the templates, sticking them on cardboard, glittering them and sticking googly eyes on. They are now going to be tree decorations.:j

Time for lunch then i need to move myself i've got so much to do.

I'm going food shopping with OH tonight:eek:, at least we now know who's coming for Christmas. There's only 9 of us this year, compared to the 14 last year it should be easy enough. Everyone's going to bring something i think we only need to do the meat, stuffing and pigs in blankets. OOH LOOK AT THE TIME ALREADY

(SAYS SHE WHO GOT IN ABOUT 2:30:eek::)
    oo sorry for shouting!

Pinched Crafty's pic for AnWs See below)

Hugs for GnB and your littley and good health in 2010 vibes for her

Hugs also Lil_me and Triker and Pigpen for the carp in your life and fairy dust to deal with it all and come out on top

Happy Birthday (somebody's) DS and Pigpens DD too

I had a good time last night and I missed the last train (because I never went to the station as at 11.10 I realised I had about 12 minutes to get there which was IMPOSSIBLE -
haven't men changed? Bars full of dancing blokes who persuade you to join in AND I found a tenner (go me) and got asked for my phone number (more go me!) Wasn't interested, couldn't get rid so colleague told him I had a BF when I nipped to the loo and he dropped my like a hot potato! Oooh and some of my fave Northern Soul tracks played and a certain Amy W. song so I was sang to, loudly!!! It was our works do and did you know you can get four people in the back of a little Peugeot IF one of them lies across the other three?

DS has bought DDs xmas gift - she has gone to her dad's and he has bought her two new baby gerbils...
now HE'S gone to their dad's and he is going to try and keep it a secret surprise for her ALL DAY
He is DREADFUL at keeping surprises secret - it will be agony for him :rotfl:
Kids were fantastic had a brill film watching session - and the tin of chocs was opened but not too many eaten. They fight like cat and dog but I think they do love each other (hence the gerbil purchase)- DS went to bed at 12 figuring I wouldn't be long and told me this morning that had I taken up the offer to stay over at another colleagues (she already had two staying) he wouldn't have worried as he knew I'd be ok.

Rach - vibes for your family.

Piggers - happy birthday to your Mimi and I would send you a dodgy hug but you don't like them so instead I'll say "Get a grip woman!":p

Well, I've done the shopping. I think I'm there with all the presents. I shall do a stock take later this afternoon.I now only need to get the turkey and some cream on Weds. (NN is coming with me so we can use her disabled badge!).

Managed to get 3lb of brussel sprouts for £1 off the veg man at the market which was a good deal I think! It was freezing out there!

I am now going to sort out the kitchen and get the fridges sparkling clean ready for the christmas food. I have lil bro and his family coming to lunch tomorrow so I need to wrap their kids' presents. I've settled on a bottle of champers and some of the cranberry fudge that triker made in the week so I need to make that this afternoon and start off the trifle for pud tomorrow. Ah me, it's going to be a busy one!
