all the modded Xboxs were recently permanently barred

    http://tigerweekly.com/article/11-18-2009/13102

Last week, roughly 1 million Xbox Live users started up their Xbox 360s and discovered that their systems had been blacklisted due to terms of use violations. Specifically, users have been banned for modding their 360s in order to circumvent DRM protection, thus allowing the downloading and playing of illegally downloaded games.
"All consumers should know that piracy is illegal and that modifying their Xbox 360 console to play pirated discs violates the Xbox Live terms of use, will void their warranty, and result in a ban from Xbox Live," Microsoft said in a statement to Information Week.

but I'm assuming he means a modded controller which is different

Yeah Browntoa its the controller he wants, i would never let him mod his actual Xbox, Xbox consoles have enough problems without tampering with them...

If they notice his tactics will they not click on and notice he is cheating, ergo, banned account? just a thought, unlikely though.

well my friends kids and his mate have just got banned completly for repeaedly setting up games between them and one playing crap so the other could win.

If they ban you for that, I'm sure once your son is reported, MS will keep an eye out on him and see his cheating becaus thats what it is, and they will ban him.

Maybe you should tell your son to stop degrading others online experience just because he's rubbish, im sure itll get on his nerves.:o
