    Hello Can anyone advise me if its possible to record a tv programme on a none digital dvd recorder off a tv with freeview built in and a digital signal by linking the two of them with a freeview box using scart cables or any other cable so the dvd recorder can recognise the digital signal. If not would i need a digital dvd recorder. Hard drives etc are no good as i want to record in one room and watch in another.

    Thanks to anyone who can help.

    it will work
    as long as the freeview box feeds to the recorder via scart (or HDMI if they have it) then it will record

    DVD = Digital Versatile Disc

    Don't worry about what is digital and what isn't. Back in the days when "Digital" TV was new the term was thrown about so liberally that everyone uses it but hardly anyone really understands what they are talking about when they say it.
