Hey all
I'm off to NZ on Thursday, flying with Emirates.
Can anyone tell me if they give out a flight pack like you get on Virgin flights, with things like eyemasks and socks, toothpaste etc?
TIA

Not sure about Emirates, but I think Air NZ only give you a flight pack if you are travelling premium economy or first class, so I suspect it's the same with most airlines.
I would check out the emirates website.
Hope you have a great time in NZ.£400+ in my £2 coin tablet fund0 -
Didn't fly to NZ but they'll be a blanket and small cushion on the seat and also headphones for the In-Flight entertainment which is quite good with many channels and loads of new films were on it. All the seats have their own Screen. Free Newspapers and magazines can be had and they give you a warm wet towel before take-off to refresh.
I had younger kids with me and they got a rucksack with toothbrush and paste and toys and crayons etc.0 -
Thanks both!
I'll take my own eyemask then!
Cheers

flutterby, hubby and I are going to NZ in Feb. I was thinking of getting a pair of those noise reduction headphones for the flight.
When you get back can you post a note, on how bad / good the headphones are that they give you and the noise level on the flight.
Cheers.£400+ in my £2 coin tablet fund0 -

Surely that is entirely subjective?0 -
We flew longhaul with Emirates.
You don't get ant luxuries in economy, but they will give you a pillow, blanket, headphones and a little sticker to place on your seat if you want to be woken up when they're serving food or not.
The headphones aren't great quality and let a lot of noise in. I used my £15 in-ear headphones and they were fine.
The entertainment is amazing, you can call other seats from your chair, you can play games and they have in-flight challenges too. There are hundreds of movies, old and brand new and TV series too (Supernanny!)Foreign politicians often zing stereotypical tunes, mayday, mayday, Venezuela, neck
