Wow that was long. I'm confused by the magnet thing, where did you find it?
How did your partner steal the game without setting off the alarm, when they're usually in cases?
I don't think you have much of a case to be honest. They didn't know, that you didn't know that she had stolen it. They knew she had stolen it, and that you refused to stop when leaving the store, and that you told her to leave too. Do you expect them just to let you all walk out? It sounds as though it was you who made the scene and promted the struggle.1 -

Maybe the tesco manager had a metal plate in his / her knee and they did not actually kick the OP but the magnet attracted the knee1

So you carry the tools & the missus carries the "swag" & when you both get caught you want her to take the rap? Nice!!!
So you go shop lifting as a family, family day out is it?
What are you a pair of skag heads?0 -
I notice the OP has gone very quiet. I think
that he will be waiting a long time for someone to post something that he wants to hear.
As for the magnet, he must think that we are all stupid. Even if he did think that it might be useful for mending equipment what is he doing with it in his pocket?1 -
It would be very interesting to know what happened to the security tag. I am sure the OP's magnet didnt "acidentally" attract it.1

You dug your own hole here OP, first you continued to walk out of the store(which was a bad idea) when as ked to stop when you could have stopped let them search you and you partner and find the game taken by your partner and nothing on you, secondly the magnet sounds a bit fishy to me, why keep it in your pocket ?1
