Louise ~ *hugs* I hope 2010 is so much better for a fair few of us here on mse...
Toto ~ Grr at the situation in America. I suppose you can still keep in contact with the band anyways. So sorry you and Amber had to go through that today, you would have thought they would understand
Spud ~ *waves*
BB ~ Thats the best Spud avatar ever! :j
Just in from working all day (including overtime), there is no way you would believe there is only one shopping weekend before chirstmas. Its been fairly quiet all day... Well I say quiet I did take £200 alone but thats life.
Happy happy Pap though, I came home and my auctions have finished. I was going to take my ds to Game, but they offered me £60 for the console and 8 games  So I put them on ebay, hopefully after postage (as thats free on games now) and fees I should clear £150 for my debt
Oh and someone else has asked me for wedding invites  or  orShould make a couple of pounds from that too :T
Have a great evening all, and enjoy the final0 -
Becky, I love mackeral, it's one of my favourite fish.
Sammy, my ex's family are all going to Vegas soon.... without him. I couldn't stop laughing when he told me. But I'm evil. I know a few people who've been and they all say it's fantastic, loads better than they thought it would be even.
I'm having a tesco moussaka for tea, then I need to do my xmas cake, I've just remembered I set it off last night, as per Delia's recipe (soaking the fruit in the brandy) so I need to do the baking part today before the fruit goes mouldy and I have to throw it away.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
awwwww, I'm touched you used it spud
I was going to do a lasagne for dinner but can't be faffed. I'll do a bolognaise instead."Stay Wonky":D

Pap, well done on the ebay stuff! I've got loads of books to sell, and it's free listings up to £4.99 till the end of Jan so I'll probably list them when I get back from Venice, since my debts are covered with what I'm putting away I'll put anything I make into a separate account (most people would think it's silly the amount of different accounts I have!) to save up for a new, much better, sofa. Probably. Unless I think of something better to save up for.
Great news on the cards too, don't put yourself down, if people are asking you to make them then you must be good at it.
Only one shopping weekend till xmas, eeek! I need to get my food sorted, I'll have to order it at Morrisons I think then make sure I get up early on xmas eve to collect it, all I want is a duck, everything else I can get beforehand.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

I hope you make your feelings known to the organiser - it doesn't seem to have been planned at all to be appropriate for those attending.
I've been hating thinking about turning 40 - next May, I loved turning 30, but 40 is just awful for lots of reasons
I would however advise you not to watch XFactor tonight in your current arrrrghhh state of mind ........Ab's Weybiza driving song is being sung tonight.......just to warn you!!!!!!It's a song I've always liked and hadn't heard for years until I got in your car and always think of you and the kids when I hear it. However, I think you've probably got different views on it having heard it hour after hour on the journey (pun intended!!!!) :rotfl:
Oh dear god, someone has it in for me today, x factor and journey  I do love journey but that song....:eek::eek:
I'm really having a hard time with this 40 thing. I've avoided all suggestions for celebrating it. I'm just going to sit and sulk I think. I'm going to celebrate yours instead :rotfl::A

Evening. Toto, what !!!!ing idiots (there, you can play guess the word...bet you can't guess!). You are funny though, I really do think you should write a book.
I've finally put my tree up and have rewarded myself with a very large G&T. Kids not home yet. Missing them like mad.
Still feeling absolutely miserable but doing everything I can think of to drag myself back out of it. Should have gone for a run really, but was too busy with the tree."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
