Oh Toto, that's terrible. I hope you've complained to anyone and everyone about the school messing everything up. And as for the party, I wonder how many people left straight away, or how many kids were there getting more and more upset. I'm really sorry for you and Abs that it's all gone so wrong, have you contacted ss about it?
I'm gobsmacked, dad's stood up to sister as well. She's got a bottle of JD for xmas off him, he says she's had enough this year (he had to pay over a grand in tuition fees to let her graduate, plus giving her hundreds a month to live of for about 6 months, in the last couple of years she's bled him dry and his savings are all gone). I was worried he was going to have a go at me about the argument the other day but it all seems forgotten. I feel bad though that for xmas and my birthday he's asked me to put £100 towards a tv and he'll put the rest there, he thinks there'll be a £600 one half price, if not he'll get me one of the £300 ones. So I'm getting about 20 times what my sister is. He's also said I can go over there for xmas if I want, but I've got it planned for here and already started buying food in, so I'm going to have a quiet one here.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Evening all
Feeling really good after a 16.7 mile run - just chowing down on some smoothie and plums while my dinner of haddock, roasted carrots and parsnips, with boiled potatoes and cabbage cooks!
Had mackerel last night it was delish - sooo cheap - must remember to buy it more often0 -
oh Toto, what a horrible experience
I hope you make your feelings known to the organiser - it doesn't seem to have been planned at all to be appropriate for those attending.
I've been hating thinking about turning 40 - next May, I loved turning 30, but 40 is just awful for lots of reasons
I would however advise you not to watch XFactor tonight in your current arrrrghhh state of mind ........Ab's Weybiza driving song is being sung tonight.......just to warn you!!!!!!It's a song I've always liked and hadn't heard for years until I got in your car and always think of you and the kids when I hear it. However, I think you've probably got different views on it having heard it hour after hour on the journey (pun intended!!!!) :rotfl:

16.7 miles Becky!! I think I'd be vomiting at the 2 mile mark
Dinner sounds lovely. I'm doing stirfy with the salmon left from Friday's dinner, veg, noodles and sauce. Am ravenous now, but am having a Baileys to 'tide me over' until dinner.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Evening all!
Second day on the happy pills (hope no one minds me calling them that) and apart from feeling a bit sick when I was driving earlier, I don't seem to be having any problems. It wasn't awful sickness, just the general mild feeling of motion sickness I'd usually get as a passenger. It could've just been all the rushing about trying to get James to the station on time.
The panto was good. It would've been better had I not nearly forgot the tickets, had to double back for them, missed the train and arrived late. Also, James had a panic attack during the closing number so we had to leave early. Thankfully, I'd already seen it last year. I'll go again next year if it's on again but I don't think James will be coming with me. Also, after having a quick look, I'm suspecting I may have to have booked in the womb to get two tickets for Phantom on a Sat between my DFD of 11th Jan and the sequel opening on 20th Feb. I might have to go by myself.
