  • I hated turning 30...I whinge about 40 but tbh, I feel better now then I did at 30.

I too think I am about 23. They always say to me at work that I'm 39 going on 12 because I'm so looney tunes

That's the exactly the same as me Scaredy. I don't feel any different than I did in my late 20s either.

I was taken to Morroco for my 40th (pre MSE days :o) but it really was a holiday to remember.

aww that must have been nice, I'll probably go to somewhere exotic, like, morrisons

I've got no plans at all. I was laying tiles on the kitchen floor of the old house on my 30th then I worked in the evening. My 40th I'll be doing laundry and I might even paint the downstairs loo, just to keep the theme going :rotfl:

I'm not worried about turning 30 in a few years

30 is an excellent age - I loved being 30. I felt I was seen as old enough in business to be taken seriously as a manager but young enough to still go out on the lash :D

Toto goes running off screaming........:rotfl:Abs had it on repeat on the journey to Weybiza (all the way from Totoville!) . Toto gave me a lift to the station and it was on....twice......:D

It is a great tune, I can play it in my sleep I've done it so often, brings back some nice memories, actually including the start of weybiza, I had such a lovely week there.

Not much lash for me at the moment - I've enjoyed my 20s so far though, but 30 doesnt worry me at all weirdly (but then OH is 16 years older so I think that makes a difference ;))

It's Journey - Don't stop believing. Abs gets a bit obsessed with songs and I happened to have a journey cd in the car. She likes the first 32 bars of that song so we had it over and over and over and over and over... 6 hours it took me to get there, no wonder I needed a huge glass of wine when I arrived. Then I went and got a parking ticket... My life sucks doesn't it :rotfl:
