I think I must be a real grinch. We have a large card at work with a collection box. You make a donation and sign the card (to everyone) so you don't have to give out individual cards (unless you want to do that as well). I made a donation but didn't sign the card because I didn't want to wish anyone a Happy Christmas at that time.

nah, you aren't a grinch. I'm glad that card giving trend of sending one to everyone you know seems to have slowed - I hate writing cards and the whole palava of giving one to all your colleagues and there being at least 1 person being miffed because they get the boring card with the bells on it :rotfl:
Instead of cards and Secret Santa we've got a guess the baby photo competition. Nearly 20 baby photos are on a board and it's £1 minimum entry fee. Money goes to charity and winner gets a bottle of wine or box of chocolates donated by the organiser (her contribution instead of donating).
