A UK domain name can only be registered for a minimum of 2 years. His domains would have expired mid-2011.
    That's what I thought.

For them to be available now, Nominet must have pulled them.

This could be for a number of reasons, but most likely because they were instructed to do so by the Information Commissioner, trading standards or by the tax man. OR.. if they (Nominet) had contacted him asking im to change something and he ignored the request.

Very unusual for all of someone's domains to be pulled at the same time. Someone 'official' must be involved.
Liking the sound of that. I presume he would have had plenty of notice and this wouldn't have been entirely unexpected to him (or maybe he hoped there was nothing that could be done, just like he knows he can't get people to pay his fines when they know the actual law).

I would say the most likely chain of events, knowing that the BPA asked for their logo to be removed and he ignored the request, was that the IC gave him a deadline to remove their logo. He ignored the request. The IC contacted Nominet and the domains were pulled.

Someone wants their domain back. He has phoned my domain registrar twice and provided incorrect security verification details in an attempt to gain access to my account.

Who is up for a "We did warn you" email to the Gala Bingo CEO Neil Goulden later on today (After the BW article).

    His address is neil.goulden@galacoral.com

He will be so pleased with the publicity it has produced,

Here is a copy of the email I sent Neil Goulden

Someone has called bogie on your Chorley branches parking

Gala bingo were warned about the business practices of the parking contractor for the Chorley Gala, these were sailing very close to the wind and often breaking the laws. Including giving incorrect legal advice on the legalities of private parking tickets, displaying logos to pretend accreditation they were not entitled to. In one instance someone who received a ticket at Gala Bingo Chorley had a visit from PCN-UK's debt collectors who have no legal standing, they put it in writing to the person that they were bailiffs and they had a warrant. A Warrant is issued by a court when a court judgement has been awarded which none had. This is highly illegal.

Gala were warned about this companies practices but decided to ignore the warnings.

They say there is no such thing as bad publicity, I'll let you be the judge of that.

https://www.pcn-uk.co.uk (That was your contractors old website).

http://www.bitterwallet.com/tag/pcn-uk (Their articles are read by the national press, so you had better hope tommorow is a slow news day.

Perhaps you should chose your contractors a little more carefully in future and take into account private parking tickets are a very grey area in law and in most cases are unenforceable so the private parking companies have to take liberties to try to scare people into paying

    Regards

I have sent you a PM enclosing the two very abusive emails I received from him after some of us "invaded" his FaceBook page a couple of weeks ago.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
