loan in time for rent day

Hi Guys,

just a quick update on my sitaution...i went to the bank and they said no to a tempory overdraft...they were quite unhelpful tbh...., so in the end i asked my mum and dad, they lent me the money until my loan comes through :-/

so all is well, thanks for all your help and suggestions :beer:

Why the disappointed smiley? I'd say thats the best outcome. Michael was dead right (if a little forcefull ) on page one in warning you off the payday loans they will have caused more grief next month.
In the meantime it could be worth your time asking some advice on the credit card forum for tips on how to improve your credit worthiness so that in future you may be able to get better loans from your bank.

Glad you got it sorted mate.

Two small things though!

1) Make sure you pay your mum / dad back the day you get your money through, along with a bottle of something - just in case you need to go back!
2) If you're ever in this position again, talk to your landlord before taking out payday loans. We rent out, and we've occasionlly and to wait a week or so for one of the tennents when they changed jobs etc. Although I can't speak for everyone, we'd much rather wait a while than think they have been forced to go to these crooks.
