Hi,
I've just moved and want to set up a telephone and braodband account.
The post office seemed a good deal, so I signed up.
I was due to go live last week, then a letter said Monday just gone. I called them Monday eve to say phone working but no BB. I was told it will go live before midnight.
I called them Tuesday, and was told someone would call me back,
I called Wednesday, reporting that the phone is now not working either, still no phone call back, I called Thursday, I kept being put through to different departments and after holding on for 1 hour I had to go, it was costing too much money!
I've sent several emails, but got no reply and I really don't know what to do.
Any ideas? I need internet access at home to enable me to do my job, and without it I'm in a bit of a difficult position.
Thanks in advance

I would suggest that they are in breach of contract. Write and give them an ultimatum, or tell them that as they are unable to fulfill their contractual obligations, you do not comsider yourself bound to continue to trade with them, then find another supplier.
It should concentrate their minds.

I got through to Post office counters (by mistake) and the very kind person there tried to get through on their priority line..... even they were on hold for ages.
they agreed to send an email to someone 'senior'. However, I heard nothing.
(I had been ringing the correct number all the time, I just tried a different number I found on the internet)
I called Ofcom this morning and they were really helpful.
They have contacted the post office and they have 5 days to reply to the problem.
Fingers crossed I get a reply.
Thanks

I've just had a call from the sales department.
My order was cancelled. They are investigating why but can re-instate my order....
I (politely) told them with the poor service I was not interested in their service, and to cancel any orders/contracts
Hopefully that will be the end of the matter.
Now I have to find another supplier, but my exchange LLU only dsplays talktalk0
